"Fascinating hotel, particularly for its history and remarkably beautiful location on the River Dee. Charming accommodations and a talented chef made for an enjoyable stay."
"Room was huge for Great Britain! Very clean and comfortable with plenty of space to move around. Parking was a little tight but we managed. After a long day of traveling, it felt like I had won the lottery! "
"A great stay in Aberdeen, unfortunately it was a 23°c day and the room didn't have air-conditioning or a window that opened more than an inch. That meant it was a very uncomfortable night's sleep.
Apart from that the staff were lovely and the location was perfect with lots of shops and dining options close by."

"Everything about this place was top-shelf! From the wonderful entrance to the hallways leading to the spacious well-equipped rooms, to the excellent food in the restaurant and the smooth drinks from the bar. However the “Great Room” which is the oldest location of Maryculter House (dating back to the 1200’s) was simply amazing!
Sitting quietly in the great room both late in the evening or early in the morning, you are overcome with the past and those who shared this room throughout the centuries!
Walking the grounds is a relaxing experience to give you a break from the go, go, go of travel.
We can’t recommend Maryculter House enough, and thank our friends who recommended it to us!"
"Truly lovely and peaceful home in a pastoral setting. Ron & Allison are attentive and accommodating hosts. We appreciated the breads, cereal, coffee, teas & milk. Master bedroom mattress is quire firm. Everything else is wonderful."
