"Great little place tucked into a quiet residential area close to Fort William (actually in Corpach - just a few minutes’ drive away). This spot is private and comfy. There was no problem with street parking when we stayed here and we were able to find a spot directly adjacent to our unit each time we returned. The host was prompt in responding to a question we had about the WiFi. Would recommend, thank you!"
Grianain - Riverside Lodge with Mountain Views

"We really loved this lodge out in the Glen. It was super clean, easy to check in, and very tidy. Also, our GPS took us directly to Achanellan, so finding it was super easy. While we enjoyed the solitude, it should be noted that this lodge is a full 30-35 minutes outside of Ft. William. Single track, uneven roads and livestock make the journey both to and from the lodge take much longer than listed. Additionally, the lodge advertises a washer and dryer, but we only found a drying rack rather than an actual electric dryer. There is a gate that needs shutting as well, which confused us as it was wide open when we arrived late in the afternoon. Instructions were given by our third day via messenger, but it would have been helpful to have that listed in the physical instructions found in the lodge. Finally, we lost internet due to a major storm overnight, so we had to kind of guess as to what the exact check-out instructions were as they were also not listed in the printed instructions. All in all, we would return again; but we suggest some updates to the advertised listing to more accurately describe Grianan Lodge and to include more instructions in the printed house booklet."

"What a fantastic house, with amazing views straight over to Ben Nevis and the Aonachs! Easy to find, a really roomy house with excellent facilities - all rooms ensuite, comfortable beds, nice and warm with a lovely fire, a very well-equipped kitchen and super hot tub. Plenty of parking and room for all our outdoors kit. Very helpful owner with quick responses to texted questions. An easy drive to Banavie / Fort William or cycle along the Caledonian Canal.Thanks very much - I hope we'll be back!"
