About this property

The Old Stables - Contemporary Cottage Surrounded by Woodland and Vineyards

  • Looking across woodland (a sea of bluebells come late Spring!) and the owner’s vineyard just beyond, you are set in a beautiful countryside location. There are some fantastic walks to be had right from the cottage with the critically acclaimed Marquis restaurant and Alkham village just a mile away. The cottage has been tastefully furnished to a contemporary quality finish. There is a shared terrace and lawn outdoor space with outdoor furniture as well as an additional private seating area. You are greeted with a spacious open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area. The kitchen is modern and well equipped, including a dishwasher and washing machine, electric oven and hob. The master bedroom includes a king size double bed as well as an ensuite shower room with his and hers basins, WC and shower. A put-up bed is available to sleep the 3rd person (charge). There is also a separate utility room.
