"The hotel is very well placed in Regua, near the train and bus stations and a short walk to the day-cruise quays and the town museum. Secure parking. Rooms are a good size, spotlessly clean. A big choice at breakfast, all of which was very good. Did not try dinner. Front desk staff enthusiastic and always helpful, particularly Paulo. Well deserved 4 stars."

"Fantastic stay for 2 nights in late September. Location is a challenging drive up a mountain, mixed signage. Great staff, lovely room and outstanding view on a clear sunny day. One challenge - breakfast is provided, dinner is not available....we did ask for a cheese platter one evening (the only option) but it was not made for us, not sure why - so we had to drive 15 mins into town in the dark. Overall a fantastic stay but be warned it is not a hotel, it is a quinta (farm) that does not really have much more than a room with a view. For that its amazing."

"The hotel was located in a fantastic site. The mountain views were unbelievable from our prairies. The staff was great. Did everything to help us. The facilities were clean and met our standards. The food was great. Overall 5 star"
