"On our way from the South we stayed for an overnight. We had a wonderful experience. Staff was very friendly and very accommodating, making us feel very welcomed. "Host was very helpful with where to go for sightseeing however there is no Ice machine and no ice bucket to chill a bottle of wine. Was giving Ice in a bowl. There is a onsite bar but it is not staffed. I was told not park in a space because the midsize SUV was too big, yet they let another guess with a bigger vehicle park in the same space. "

"Hotel is classic Black Forest style had a lovely meal one of the evenings in their restaurant. The rooms were lovely, nice large and clean. Plenty of parking either in their car park or across the road next to the river. My only comment would be that the sauna isn’t signposted I think you must have to ask, same goes for the tennis courts. The only negative would be the road it is on isn’t the quietest. We did have a nice time. "

"I visit the property in 2019 and it was better maintained and breakfast was better. The hotel changed owners and it is not the same quality anymore. They forgot to clean our room, we had at 8.00 am breakfast and where not in the room the whole day, we got clean towels and the reception. Next time I look for another hotel, it is expensive and for that price I find something else. "
