"Die Ferienwohnung ist klein, aber gut und gemütlich eingerichtet. Besonders gefallen haben uns die tolle Aussicht vom Balkon Richtung Berge sowie die sehr zentrale Lage in der Nähe des Bahnhofs. Direkt dort gibt es auch einen hervorragenden Bäcker, bei dem wir dank der leckeren Auswahl einiges an Geld gelassen haben – besonders praktisch, da er sogar an Feiertagen und sonntags geöffnet hatte. "Ok, so this wasn’t the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in, however I think it’s unrealistic to expect 5 star luxury when you’re paying so little. Value for money, absolutely 10 out of 10. The room was very large, clean and comfortable, the bed was super comfortable and the views from the balcony were stunning. The room was a little dated but it added to the charm and the bathroom was large, clean and modern with a very powerful shower. Breakfast was ample, if you’re expecting a full English, think again, you’re not in England! Plenty of fresh bread, cheese, cold meats, yogurt, cereal, fruits and vegetables with a sweet treat for 2 thrown in for good measure. Then you get to the owner, Ingolf. Never have we been made to feel more welcome. He’s a larger than life character, full of good humour and nothing is too much trouble. We’d come back from a day out somewhere and he’d have coffee and a home baked cheesecake or fruit waiting, at no extra charge I might add! I’ve seen a couple of recent reviews slating the place and I can honestly say, they are being unfair and unjust. Like I say, the place isn’t a 5 star resort but you aren’t paying 5 star prices and it’s unrealistic to expect that. Ingolf is restoring it room by room and some areas maybe look better than others currently. Will I return here? Absolutely, we can’t wait to come back, looking forward to seeing the changes you make. Thank you again for making us feel so welcome."

"The only negative experience was our check in as the young lady that helped us was the most rude experience we had in our 10 days in Europe. Everyone else at the resort was delightful. Just unfortunate to have this be the first person we interacted with after traveling all day and finishing our trip at this resort to relax and rejuvenate. Otherwise, an amazing experience"

"Parking was a bit difficult. Had to park across the street in an underground and pay €14 per night. The breakfast was remarkable and the best we have ever had in any hotel traveling. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They didn't seem to know how to find an ATM. Suggest that information be available to travelers who need to exchange currency."
