"Dorint Esplanade is right downtown Jena, close to everything. The room, and bathroom, was spacious. The staff was friendly. We booked our room with breakfast. The breakfast was great. They had anything you could want for breakfast and if it wasn't on the buffet the staff would get it. We've been going here for years, and the staff is always the same which speaks for the hotel. Will definitely continue coming to Dorint Esplanade."

"Vielleicht kann man mich schon fast als Stammgast bezeichnen. Das Hotel verändert sich weiter positiv. Man kann eine Karte für den Nahverkehr in Jena bekommen, das finde ich super! Die nächste Haltestelle ist ca. 2 Minuten entfernt. Nah genug um bequem dorthin zu kommen und weit genug um keine Geräuschentwicklung zu vernehmen. Parkmöglichkeiten gibt es auf der gegenüber liegenden Straßenseite. Zur Zeit noch kostenfrei, aber die Schranke ist schon angebracht. Die Zimmer sind bequem und sauber....

Room was nice and clean, no AC, no loundry service to the customers. Bike rental locate city tourist office, not on site.
