Upon arrival, the host was at the property and told myself that he would be staying in the room above. There were no safety precautions in place to separate ourselves from the host. The host then offered us a refund, but when contacted by Expedia declined this. Appalling customer service."

However AVO Management who organised the check in had sent the check in forms to the wrong email address which caused some added stress to the process, which could have been easily avoided."
