"Great location and comfortable room. The staff were professional, although not particularly friendly. We were given a room on the 6th floor, and unfortunately the view was obstructed by the building’s lower roof, which was disappointing. Overall, a good hotel with an excellent location."

"The hotel’s location is very convenient. It is within walking distance to the subway station and bus stops. There are also a couple of tourist attractions nearby. You don’t have to worry about food as there are several restaurants and convenience stores nearby that is if you wish to eat outside the hotel. The room was cleaned every day. The staff was nice and respectful. They spoke enough English so that we could understand. The breakfast buffet was good; although it did not change much from day to day. There were eggs, bread, bacon, waffles, fruit, yogurt, salads, coffee, juice, etc. There is a laundry room but with only 2 small washers and 1 small dryer. It is free though; they even provide the detergent. In summary, I would return to this hotel or maybe another Shilla Stay, 🙂"

"Hotel was nice and clean. Water pressure for the shower was great and water was HOT. staff was very friendly and breakfast was yummy and a bit different every day. It was a good price for what you got for breakfast. We just ate there every morning. Loved the ladies running the buffet."

"This accommodation was excellent! Definitely recommended for anyone traveling to Seoul. I stayed here for two weeks to visit a friend of mine. Sinchon's a great place to stay, very peaceful, no issues whatsoever. It's a short bus ride to get to Hongdae from here as well as Yeonnam where there are many beautiful cafes. The staff is really great and accommodating to your needs, very foreigner friendly. It's clean and quiet, as well as super simple to go in and out. The place is also next to many convience stores and its by the bus stop and the subway station. Great stay!!!"

"The Shilla Soedaemun is at the highest end of budget and none the worse for that. Breakfast is pretty good with Western and Korean options. Room are a little on the small side but quite serviceable - we found there was ample room for two. The metro station outside gives good access to Seoul’s sights, but the hotel is 20 minutes walk away from Seoul Station and there is no easy metro connection - it took us 55 minutes on the metro, most of which was spent walking from one line to another . The hotel’s “Seoul staton” monicker is very misleading"

"Wonderful hotel with a great gym and pool. Their bar is fantastic as well, make sure you check it out - really creative and delicious cocktails! Staff were super helpful. There's a terrific public space just outside the hotel and we loved walking around as the location was so central. Highly recommended for couples or families."
