"This is a lovely little hotel about 5min walk from the train station and 1 min from the epic Roman Remains, pedestrianised shopping/eating area. The location was perfect and the lady at Reception was lovely, very helpful and knowledgeable about Trier. We both slept well on the comfortable beds. The shower room was great, good water pressure. This is a good old fashioned hotel - there is no WiFi in the rooms but there is in the lobby. (But there is a telephone and landline in the room!!)"

"Everything was as expected. Clean, tidy pleasant staff, liked that we could get a takeaway coffee after breakfast. The only issue is the location, it's a one way system with limited parking outside the hotel. My recommendation if you can't see spaces pull up outside the reception doors check in and you can pay for a barriered car parking space otherwise you'll have a 10 minute loop to get to the hotel. I would use the hotel again, 15/20 minute walk to the centre"

Een supermarkt (Wasgau) op fietsafstand. Een prima plek voor uitstapjes naar Trier en vele andere mooie plaatsen. Bij warm weer naar Holzerather See, een idyllisch meertje midden in de bossen. Heel veel fiets- en wandelmogelijkheden in de buurt. De gastvrouw en gastheer, Anne en Holger, waren zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Wie weet komen wij hier ooit nog een keer terug."
