"The accommodation was alot more run down than the listing images suggest. The fake grass roofs were needing some work and really messy, there were cracks in the sinks and mould in the sink and shower. Our spa was missing a tile too. There is also construction of a hotel opposite, so our breakfast view was of a work site. It was a 10min drive to town, and Kuta does not have Grab or Gojek, so we had to call a private driver each time. The drivers were really lovely but popping into town wasn't...

"The staff always make you feel very welcome, and everything is extremely well organized, with easy and efficient communication via WhatsApp. The property is actually much better than it looks in the photos. The road leading there still has quite a lot of construction, but as soon as you step inside, it feels like a little paradise. It’s peaceful and quiet, with no traffic noise, and you can’t hear the mosques. The food is also amazing if you order from their menu — everything we tried was really good and it was very convenient to be able to enjoy it directly at the property. The only downside for me was the private pool. Unfortunately, the sun never reached it during my stay, so the water was very cold and I wasn’t really able to use it. The location is great: just a few minutes from Kuta, so you’re close to everything and the area is well served, while still being far enough away from the noise and busy atmosphere. Their transfer, driver and tour services are also excellent and very reasonably priced, which makes organizing everything very easy. Overall, great quality for the price and a very pleasant stay. Definitely recommended!"

Room & Pool was clean and well maintained. For city dwellers, maybe would need one to two nights to get used to the silent and peaceful night. We loved the sea turtle release activity! Special shout out to Guntha (Dining Manager) and Wirdah (Concierge) for their warmth and professional service. Great to see Tunak employing staff of different capabilities. Superb!"

Its a bit of a drive to any of the main shopping areas but very much worth it for the peaceful and private location of this resort. We are already planning a trip back."
