"Spectacular interior spaces and super friendly owner. The interior is filled with incredible woodwork, especially grand staircase. Our suite was large and comfortable. Books everywhere to read. Great amount of satisfying choices for breakfast. We were pleasantly stuffed afterwards. Close to several restaurants. We were biking the Erie Canal Trail from Syracuse to Amsterdam NY and it was very convenient, close to trail and owner insisted on having our bikes inside. Loved it!!!"

But if you want something with some rustic charm and don't mind some soft floorboards as you're walking in and having to figure out how to get the temperature you like with a combination of windows and AC- well, this place may suit. The common spaces are quite pleasant- the rooms are small and are really only suitable for sleeping."
