"The Houseboat Villa Nautica is not for everyone. My wife and I are 70 and enjoy staying in unique accommodations such as the tented camps in Kenya. We are self-sufficient and are comfortable living out of our two carry-on bags. "What a great stay! The hosts were incredibly kind and went above and beyond to ensure we were happy including picking us up and dropping us back at the train station. The apartment itself is beautiful and has everything you could need to be comfortable. We wish we had added another day to our trip just to stay in the apartment and look out over the vineyards. Hannelore pointed out a good restaurant just up the road for us to have dinner and a bakery for breakfast, both of which were amazing....

"Neighborhood in Mainz was delightful! Sleeping arrangements as advertised - two bedrooms which sleep 2 each on 2nd floor, and one bedroom with other beds/futons on top floor. Kitchen was a bit underequipped compared to our other European VRBO experiences - no vegetable peeler, no saucepans smaller than multiple gallon, very minimal spices. Kitchen not really equipped to cook. Backyard is NOT AS ADVERTISED - overgrown and unkempt waist high grass made it unusable except patio and table directly...

"What a wonderful experience! Staying at this location made our Wiesbaden stay very special. The house and the location are perfect for relaxation and quiet, while at the same time being within easy walking distance to shops and wineries. It was great to see the ducks and sheep and goats nearby. The hosts were very helpful and are incredibly nice people. It was a pleasure interacting with them. If we make another visit to the city, we will definitely stay here again."

"Had a lovely stay and would definitely return. Very central but away from the noise. Everything you need for a few nights stay. Lovely to have the terrace, which we really enjoyed. Located a block from the river with two parks in both directions down the road, plus a wine garden and ice cream vending machine. Restaurants, bakery and banks within walking distance. Well-supplied kitchen with dishwasher, but no microwave. The owner was very responsive and easy to work with. The only slight drawbacks were that parking was in a narrow alley with a tricky turn, and the view out the front window...

"Da wir unsere sechsjährige Tochter dabei hatten, war der Standort perfekt. 3 Minuten Fußweg zum Robinson Abenteuerspielplatz und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten um die Ecke. Für unsere Zwecke sehr zentral gelegen, direkt 5 Minuten zur Autobahnauffahrt. Es war alles in Ordnung."
