The Banana Island Resort has ALL THE POTENTIAL to be a Paradise Island in these parts of the world. Staff service is A1, and always attentive to the guests needs. There is however lots of Areas for Improvement, e.g., Needs many more dining options, Alcohol consumption should be allowed, Construction and Maintenance activities should be better managed when guests, etc.

Beautiful Island. Picturesque. Clean and friendly staff. Niroshana and the other villa staff were Excellent. Niroshana went out of his way to make this trip memorable. The restaurant service/food were superior and very tasty. We were waited on hand and foot from the time we stepped onto the island, until when we left. They made every accommodation effortless and stress-free! We plan to come back in the next 3 months.

An absolutely amazing experience and a wonderful resort. All the staff were tremendous. Syed went above and beyond to help make our experience a memorable one. Will recommend and visit again!

The room they gave us was not good, it has water dripping from the ceiling right inside of the bathroom door. Also the hanger inside the cupboard was falling down I couldn’t hang my clothes, and when I told the reception they didn’t do anything! Also I asked for late checkout upon arrival even if it was chargeable but they didn’t give us an answer until it was too late and they don’t know what to just they keep saying wait for us we will get back to you soon but they dudn’t! I had a birthday occasion they brought a wrong cake! Overall experience is very bad and disappointing! I went to resorts around the world, but this one definitely managed by bad management and worse staff!

Nice and clean hotel. Workers are kind and want to make your stay the best it can be. There many activities to do. Restaurant staff (Azraq) are very helpful and there is a range of cuisine to choose from if you’re having a buffet breakfast.

Outdated empty old property . Absolutely worst choice for staying in Qatar. Only few shuttle boats to mainland. So you’re stuck in the middle of nowhere in empty place with terrible beach, and yellow water park. Only bright spot is personal, they are trying really hard and Al Nahham restaurant with lebanese food.

The place was great, the room was clean and tidy, and the restaurants were great, but the glass of the ground rooms was not reflective, during the day, and did not give privacy to the room, and most of the equipment for water activities did not work, and there was also a delay, the transportation between the rooms and the reception, where the driver arrives after half an hour or more

Great resort but cleanliness requires attention
Our room smelt of cigarettes, especially in the toilet. There was a lot of dust in our room and I believe a deep clean of all rooms is required. The Italian Riva restaurant was amazing, the food and service was exceptional. However, the Nahham Arabic restaurant require a lot more outdoor heaters, but the food and service is good.
