Entertaining the whole gang after a day on the slopes will be a breeze with the fully equipped kitchen featuring a gas range to prepare tasty meals and a living area with a plush leather sectional sofa and flatscreen TV to stream favorite shows on.



Come winter, NorthStar and the unbeatable ski runs will be calling your name, so bring your gear along and shred fresh powder to your heart's content just under a mile from home base. Don't worry about driving either, as the five-minute shuttle ride can whisk you to the mountain in no time. Venture out a bit further and you can easily find yourself in downtown Truckee (seven miles north) or taking a dip in the blue waters of Lake Tahoe (eight miles southeast).



Enjoy access to the Northstar recreation center amenities, which include tennis courts, basketball courts, a fitness center, a sauna, a hot tub, a seasonal lap pool, and an open grill area next to a beautiful creek surrounded by pine, fir, and aspen trees. (Site rentals include the use of three picnic tables and up to two gas BBQ grills with grilling utensils.) There is a $10 daily fee per person for use of the facilities, payable directly at the Recreation Center upon entry. This is just a quick drive or 1 mile walk. Please keep in mind there are many stairs to home.
