"Rooms were clean, staff that checked us in, was also staffing the breakfast was pleasant and accommodating BUT got a call after we checked out that the bottled FIGI water offered in the room was NOT Free even though there we did not see a sign OR price tag. I was contacted asking for my card number to charge $7.00 per bottle, so $14 for the water. After speaking w the manager, the person on the line said he would only charge me $7. I could not believe it! When I said that we had a nice stay but this over shadows it, he threatened me with criminal charges… for “stealing” 2 bottles of water! Crazy! Will never stay here. Not sure why they would choose to be so aggressive over water. Not very hospitable. "

"We absolutely loved our stay with KCC! The room was clean and beautiful. It was nice to have extra amenities such as hot cocoa, water, tea selection, games and even a boutique on site. The breakfast was delicious, fresh! We would definitely recommend this beautiful place to stay, the staff were so friendly and welcoming."

"From the very moment I stepped inside the front lobby, everything about AWOL was amazing. Check in was a breeze and the very kind lady gave me a nice detailed tour that was also somehow quick. She even included a map for me with some suggestions as I am not from the area. The room was cozy, clean, and everything we wanted when we booked our stay. The little fireplace inside the room was also a pleasant surprise. We enjoyed our stay here very much and I have been raving about AWOL to anyone who will listen! "

"Room was nicely furnished and very clean. Staff was super helpful. Complimentary continental breakfast was simple but good. Location is great right downtown in Kennebunkport. Only complaint is the fish smell from the sushi restaurant located downstairs. It was not detectable in our room but very pungent in hallways and lobby. "

"Continental Breakfast was ok. Room could use some attention. There is no one at the front desk after 4PM and no one was there when we left at 9AM. "
