hôtel magnifique, personnel de qualité

séjour très agréable avec une équipe toujours attentive du bien-être des clients. Quel regret de voir bruler quelques heures après notre départ ce magnifique château!! Bon courage à toute l'équipe, en espérant vous retrouver au plus vite dans ce superbe hôtel.

Golfweekend mit Stil

Zwei Tage in einem Hotel voll traditionellem Stil und Romantik. Die Aussicht von der Terrasse und unserem Zimmer auf die Alpen und Teile des Genfersees war traumhaft. Das Servicepersonal vielleicht etwas steif, wie in alten Zeiten eben ;-) die Bedienung an der Reception aber überaus freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist etwas mager, d.h. nicht sehr reichhaltig. Trotzdem, da gehen wir gerne wieder hin.

Refined elegance taking you back in time

Magical experience staying at the castle where we were treated with the highest level of service. It was a trip of a lifetime. We traveled back centuries while being swept away with unforgettable views and dining. Thank you for everything. Isabelle and her fellow staff are top notch!

The unique of this hotel is its traditional Victorian decor except human pic in the bedroom was not too cozy. The restaurant is very convenient located at the first floor. We didn't get a warm welcome from the head waiter but the regular waiter was very helpful and friendly.

Good times at the Chateau

Had a great stay at the Chateau Divonne. The hotel is located in very nice surroundings conventielntly close to Geneva. They provided an excellent value for the money.

Shame about the service and poor attitude of staff

I booked this hotel because of the beautiful location and views to the lake and mountains. Room with no view at all. Pillows in room smelt stale. Loud noise during night above room. Arrived to breakfast at 9:45am and not served. Enquired why no service to be told breakfast finished at 10:00. Explained arrived earlier than 10:00, but could only be offered tea or coffee with no apology. DUTY MANAGER WAS VERY RUDE and very patronising, so I decided to check out of the hotel after one night even though I had booked and paid for in advance for 3 nights. The hotel refused to refund the 2 remaining nights despite their short comings. Very disappointing and upsetting start to my short break.

No water

The only thing I liked about the Château was the pool when we woke up in the morning the water was not working and you couldn't have a shower or flush the toilet and the food was expensive but it was very nice it is like 20 minutes from the city centre other than that I will not stay there again

Immer wieder ein Genuss

Das Hotel befindet sich an sehr guter Lage nahe der Autobahn, dem Lac Lemon, dem Jura und Genf. Beim Abendessen ist jeder Gang ein Genuss. Gepflegte Kleidung (i.d.R. Anzug und Kleid) wird hier jedoch vorausgesetzt. Ein weiteres Highlight ist auch das Morgenessen - mit Aussicht auf den See und die Berge. Allerdings sind die Preise für die Essen nicht ganz günstig. Es lohnt sich jedoch trotzdem.

Plus: Überaus! nettes und aufmerksames Personal, sowohl im Hotel als auch im Restaurant( verbreitet gute Laune). Hübsches, sauberes Zimmer und Bad. Minus: Das Restaurant : die Leistung ist ordentlich, aber auch nicht überragend, die Weinkarte ist völlig überteuert;

Great hotel not suitable for business travelers with business in geneva, taxis work out very very bad value... Pay the extra and stay in town. But for relaxing this is great.. Rent a car thou, and drive around its a beautiful region... Very elegant dinning, great charachter rooms

la reception ne nous a jamais rappelé que le petit-déjeuner n'était pas compris dans le prix de la chambre, ce que nous avons bien entendu découvert lorsque nous avons fait notre check-out. EUR 48 pour 2 petit-déjeuners alors que nous avons dû prendre les couverts d'une autre table puisque personne ne daignait le faire, nous servir nous-mêmes de thé et de café à un buffet à moitié vide!!! Dans de telles conditions, nous nous sommes vraiment sentis arnaqués par la reception et par la frugalité du buffet. Cela n'est franchement pas digne d'un 4 étoiles.

Belle étape découverte à Divonne

Très bel établissement, bien tenu, accueil très adroit et personnalisé. Personnel diligent et compétent. Petit Bémol sur le dîner, j'ai remarqué quelques petits détails techniques qui passent inaperçus pour la plupart des clients (je suis chef de cuisine privé). Ce soir là, deux petits amuse bouche était sans grand intérêt en revanche une verrine de champignons avec une raviole de Homard et une écume de crustacé était sublime le foie gras était peu assaisonné et servi en trop grande quantité, Le bar cuit sur sa peau était un peu gris et sec, sauce vinaigrette sans intérêt et n'apporte rien au plat. Le Filet de veau était cuit à mon goût, les petites carottes auraient mérité un petit glaçage mais le reste des accompagnements était parfait, la sauce était insipide (chef essaies de faire un fond de paleron) Dessert intéressant à l'exception du biscuit inférieur un peu sec et sans goût, très bien présenté bravo. Le service bien fait, serveurs compétents et discrets. J'y retournerai... Ps : Comment se fait-il que les portes des chambres ne sont pas coupe feu?

Tres charmant:) Genau so haben wir uns das gewünscht.

Reizendes Personal,wer schiefe und knarrende Böden charmant und nicht störend empfindet,ist hier richtig.Nur 20 km vom Genfer Zentrum entfernt liegt auf einem Hügel hinter einr Auffahrt mit eisernem Tor das weisse Chateau.Gut, die Farbe ist nicht neu und es knarren Türen oder Fenster - wir fanden es toll,im total geblümbten rosafarbenen Zimmer im Laura Ashley Style kkonnten wir bei einem grossartigen Rotwein super entspannen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall im Sommer wieder, dann ist die Poolanlage mit Blick auf die Berge in Betrieb;)) Hochpreisige,aber gute französische Küche.

Un vrai 4 étoiles, le cadre et la déco en plus

Tenue impeccable, cadre on pourrait dire familial (ambiance, décoration, etc.) tout en restant prestigieux, l'hotel est vraiment digne d'un 4 étoiles, avec toutes les petites attentions de confort de son niveau (pas si courant loin de là). Notre chambre était très agréable, bien décorée (1 autre vue : meme remarque), calme, et le personnel toujours disponible et serviable. Terrasse avec vue panoramique sur Divonne, et parc de chateau. Très recommandé.

excellent place to stay and highly recommended

I stayed here one night before flying out of Geneva. It is about 15 minutes from the airport. This is one of the nicest places I have ever stayed at and is a real treat. It is also not too expensive and was cheaper than many of the hotels in Geneva when I looked to book. The rooms are beautifully decorated, spacious and very comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful. The food is wonderful, especially the included breakfast. They also have a great outdoor pool and beautiful views of the Alps from the patio where dinner is served in the summer. If you are going to be in the Geneva area and want to stay at a nice place, look no further!

Very Convenient for Geneva Meetings

Friendly and Helpful Team. Wonderful position overlooking the town. Old World and comfortable. The lack of any catering service other than Breakfast and Dinner could be a problem. Food is amazing. Certainly will use again when Geneva Hotels are overpriced and full.
