"The carpet was stained, The TV was hard to work. There is not enough power points and I did not realise that the fridge was not plugged in anywhere. The front office staff were the only ones I saw and they were excellent."

"Steph was a great host. Communication was fast. Check in was easy. Property was as advertised and very clean. Lovely ocean views with cooling sea breeze. The pool was refreshing on the warmer days.If we happen to be in the area again, will likely stay again."

"We stayed for 3 nights in total and we loved it. The manager was fantastic, quickest and easiest check-in ever! The room was lovely, bright and clean. We had a dog friendly room on the ground floor which had a patio door accessing a lovely grassed area for the dogs to play. Our only critique would be the scent in the room which we found slightly overpowering. We loved the local Canoe Point off leash dog beach and were so impressed by the surrounding amenities. Gladstone marina was another delightful surprise and the Auckland House restaurant was a great recommendation."

"From the time I arrived, the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The hotel was at the rear of the pub, very clean and tidy, the food was outstanding. Would highly recommend staying there. "
