"We have had a fantastic Christmas week. The house was spotless and so spacious yet cosy and comfortable. The beds are very comfortable and it was lovely to have en suites for every room. A huge table for all 12 of us to sit around. The kitchen is so well equipped. We filled the American fridge and the two ovens easily accommodated our 18 lb turkey with roasties and all the trimmings. The hosts responded immediately when we needed anything.The lane is quiet for walks and cycling for the children. We had good weather and loved the views across the fields.Tesco superstore was 10 minutes away and Fordmore farm shop 4 minutes away. Lots of National Trust properties to visit nearby and wonderful woodland walks. We’d like to come back in the summer to sit out in the garden and barbecue"

"Great location, very peaceful and tranquil, good quality facilities, very comfortable and excellent for my mom who has mobility issues. Hot tub was a great addition. Would definitely stay again. Very minor comments would be to add a dressing table so you can do hair, there was wet towels left in washing machine, had a small issue with hot water but this was rectified but did take a while to contact the owner as wasn't sure if my calls were being received, a welcome pack would have been nice. Overall a great stay and lovely relaxing week."
