"Lovely convenient hotel "

"Staff were amazing - great evening meal and breakfast. The suite was huge with fabulous views over the bay. The new manager is brilliant, really friendly, and a great source of local info. Used to be a holiday home for the Hartley jam family! Will be going back for a few nights as it is a really good base for exploring."

"Spectacular views from cottage, road from Torridon to cottage was beutiful although it is a winding road with steep gradients.Cottage comfortable and well equipped clean and tidy. A lovely place to escape to for the peace and quiet, great to have some reading time.Meals at the Gille restaurant were very nice although on the pricey side.One small downer was that all electric used had to be paid for.Overall a very enjoyable week in this lovely place within a lovely community."

"Our hosts were very friendly and offered advise regarding Storm Amy's approach, where we could see the stags locally (which we did!) and regarding returning via Bealach na Ba which we did in dense cloud on the way in. We took the coast road back as the weather was worsening and the view non existent! Our room was very comfortable and cosy with underfloor heating in the bathroom. The honesty bar was great for stopping in the room (wine, beer, soft drinks, various snacks) - we came away with some of the lovely shortbread. Not to mention the welcome drinks which was a lovely touch. The B&B is right out of Applecross and so we took a drive back to the Applecross Inn for dinner with a lovely view out over the bay. Scottish breakfast was perfect and the locally smoked salmon was fabulous! It set us up for the day with a lovely a walk around Applecross before heading off the beat the incoming Amy."
