We didn't spend much time at the hotel outside of sleeping and breakfast but the room was very nice and clean and spacious. As for breakfast, there were some basics but not a very big spread.

The staff at the desk at Townplace are absolutely phenomenal and the nicest people I’ve come across in the hotel industry and I’ve traveled a ton. We stayed here this week based 99% on the staff after staying there the week before. We will absolutely stay here anytime we are in Detroit area!!!

Great staff, very clean, well-stocked amenities, and close to tons of shopping and restaurants. My kids loved the pool! The gym was a bit small but has the essentials. Overall very nice property at a great price!

Convenient for Business

TownePlace Suites by Marriott Detroit Troy was a great hotel! Check-in was fast and the staff were friendly. My room, a Studio King, had all the amenities one would need for an extended stay and was very clean. This specific location was conveniently located near several restaurants. Definitely would stay again!

We come every year for the Woodward Dream Crusie and never have we ever had any problems with any of our stays, weve been staying for the past 9 yrs! We look forward to staying every year! Staff has always been very nice and welcoming, they have security that patrols the area for the event and that makes me feel so safe, to where i can rest peacefully at night. Theres so much to do in that area, youre 5-10 from many restaurants and stores, not far from the Detroit Zoo, very peaceful area !

Pet fee not addressed in my final fee with the total cost and the hot tub was loose cement floating and nasty floating hair in the tub. I am extremely upset at this. Have stayed at over 100 hotels in my life and this by far was the worse.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean, spacious and updated. Me and my friend were visiting the city for a concert. The hotel was within walking distance of good restaurants, the staff was friendly checking in and out. I’ll be definitely staying here each time I come to Detroit.
