Very clean, friendly staff, excellent breakfast choices, and spacious rooms. Only complaint is that the pool is pretty small- no more than 8 kids could be in there comfortably. But overall, excellent and highly recommended hotel!

The staff provided excellent service. The facility is clean and the breakfast every day exceptional. When it came to meeting our needs, like being on a cruise ship . The pool wasn't t working, and they said they would refund us. I'm glad we stayed! Will return.

2/10 Terrible

Disliked: Cleanliness
The staff followed through with my service issues. When we arrived, our door was ajar. I searched the room before we entered it. I could tell by the state of the room it had been serviced and no one had been hanging out in there. It was almost midnight when we arrived, my daughter went straight to bed. I noticed the sheets were damp when I got ready to go to bed. I didn’t want to wake my kid up, so we slept on damp sheets. The staff changed the sheets the next day. Lastly, our towels and watch cloths weren’t replenished the next morning.

Our family of 7 stayed and we felt very comfortable in a large room that had 2 queen beds, a sofa bed and an additional rollaway bed we requested. The kids enjoyed the pool and the breakfast buffet was very good. Freshly made pancakes, omelettes, breakfast potatos, sausages, cereals, toasts, pastries, yogurts, drinks of all kinds. What stood out more than anything was how friendly all the staff were. Thank you for such a great stay!

The Holiday Inn Express in Novi was a very decent place. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast hours were very short but the option were good. I liked that coffee was available 24/7. The workout room was nice but too warm and didn't have much for strength training. The staff was friendly. I liked the option to not have house keeping clean your room. I didn't need it and prefer the privacy. Added note: this is a review of the Holiday Inn - not Expedia whom I booked through. They were a nightmare! Holiday Inn = good. Expedia = bad
