"The room was exceptionally spotless, with an incredible flare by the interior designer. One quirky item though was the large corner floor model of indirect lighting. It looked like a photographer"s 48" high tripod with a 30" reflective concave dome to provide the full bedroom with lighting. It did not achieve that goal as the room was very dimly lit. The closet area had a drawer fridge and also a drawer safe, which both achieved function and space saving. The gym in the hotel has incredibly innovative fitness equipment that are both high tech and beautiful by design. The roof top bar, like the ground floor dining room uses the interior designers flare for Retro, with extensive use of porcelain, vintage mirrors and woodwork. I highly recommend the Hotel Montevideo, if it is within your budget to spoil yourself a little."
