"This is the best place that I have ever stayed in. It’s truly magnificent. Historic, luxurious, serene and romantic. The staff were impeccable. The food was stunning. The grounds and amenities are second to none. Get a room in the main chateau if you can, they are absolutely fabulous. I cannot say enough great things about this property."

"Nice Restaurant. "

"We really enjoyed our stay here! The owner was so welcoming, our room was large and comfortable, the breakfast was served in a nice room and the restaurant experience was superb - we had a delicious dinner outside on the terrace. My son enjoyed dipping into the pool and our dog was happy all around! Great please highly recommend! "

"Lovely place to stay just a short walk from the centre of town. Great hosts, ample parking and a super breakfast "

"Lovely hosts in a beautiful peaceful setting. Great pool , great breakfast 10 out of 10"

"We had a super stay, so friendly , food was really great."

"This property is absolutely outstanding. It’s immaculately furnished and clean - like staying in the Ritz - but even better because the hosts go the extra mile to make your stay perfect…they can’t make this place any better!"

"Beautiful house with everything you’d need in a quiet location. Lovely pool and garden (which was fully fenced, if you have a dog). Also, many peaceful walks nearby. All in, lovely place to relax!"

"Lovely house. Excellent host and a very friendly dog. This was our second time here and it was just as good- definitely recommend it for a lovely relaxing holiday but within a short drive to shops, restaurants and a swimming lake"

"The Chocolade Box was very well equiped. The airconditioning was very nice on the hot days."
