"We arrived with our two small dogs after a 10 hour road trip that was difficult, there was no one at the front desk for a good 10 minutes. When she arrived, she told us the hotel had overbooked and canceled our reservation (they did not make any effort to contact us) and that we were rebooked at a lesser value hotel which was not pet friendly. We were left scrambling for a room and had to drive an additional 30 minutes."

"Proprietors Ann and Chuck's property is amazing. It was a centerpiece to 2 perfect days in Clarksdale. Their recommendations about music venues and sights were just what I needed given the wide array of choices and short time to visit (esp. pointing me to Reds and to Bad Apple). Both Ann and Chuck were ready with advice about anything, in my case even texting me a route for a morning run around the area. The hotel itself is a gem. A refurbished old building with a loft/boutique feel but the comfort and amenities of modern hotel. The kitchen area with espresso machine and refrigerator stocked with beverages as well as food for breakfast (including yogurt, fresh fruit) and choice of granolas was an unexpected and pleasant surprise. I've stayed at all kinds of hotels, B&Bs, etc in my travels around the world. There may be fancier places that I've enjoyed on occasion but none that I enjoyed more than the TH. Together with its location, this hotel has got to be the "go -to" accommodation in Clarksdale. Part of a very memorable experience on my trek through the Delta."
