"A beautiful location with lovely staff!"

"Great location to base yourself while visiting sites in the cultural triangle. Good selection of food for both breakfast and dinner and the staff are lovely and always happy to help. "

"This hotel is an absolute gem. The surroundings are forest and the rooms are very clean and equipped with all the facilities except Television (who needs that when you have so much nature around you). Special mention to the helpful staff who took care of us and provided prompt service. The chef cooked tasty meals for breakfast. Lunch and dinner services were available on request and prior notification. This hotel is heaven for people who want to enjoy nature and have few slow, relaxing days."

"Lovely, friendly family owned hotel. Excellent food (be prepared for a massive, homemade tasty Sri Lankan breakfast). Outdoor facilities a little basic but clearly a work in progress in improving. Pool and room were lovely. Nice nature walks nearby. Would recommend vegetarian dinner options."

"Beautiful cabins in relaxing gardens. Friendly staff with fantastic inhouse food. Walking distance to main road but set back and feels nice and remote."

It also appears in very good nick so I would guess is relatively new. The room was pleasantly adequate with no complaints. The odd thing was there was no reception as such so to find someone, I discovered ‘hollering’ ended up being the best way. Location is definitely Marmite with peace, quite and seclusion giving it a glowing...
