LGBT Welcoming Hotels in Nova Scotia

"Staff are nice. Hotel needs a refresh. It is dismal and dated. Booked 2 King Rooms, arrived to be told they gave them to other guests as they were oversold...that was disappointing. Staff tried to remedy it but with new booking system, it took 10-15 minutes for them to get us rooms and after a very long day of travel, standing in the reception area felt like a long time..."

"uh, how many times do I have to say it? Greet the guest and say Welcome! The first words out of your mouth should never be 'credit card and id' We got an odd-shaped room. I did not like sleeping with my feet pointed at the door. There was something wonky about the heat and fan in the room. The fan was blowing hard at the head of the bed. I got cold very quickly simply reading in bed. We quickly got into a fight but the thermostat said 27 c! Then I realized the rest of the room was very warm. Definitely something off there. We apologized to each other. The amenities in the room were excellent. Coffee maker, easy-to-use TV, bar fridge. The bathroom was well set up with a ledge extending over the toilet for your things, but no towel bar. Overall, very clean and good condition. The included hot breakfast was also excellent! Will probably be back, but please, make me feel good about being there!"
