This is an old CP hotel with so much history. Rooms were comfortable with a super comfy bed and 2 lounging chairs for relaxing. Staff were fabulous and breakfast was very good. We would definitely stay here again.
The hotel is beautiful. The room was clean and the staff were helpful. It would have been good to have a mini fridge in our room. And the pool area is also amazing, but there needs to be at least five umbrellas down there. It’s so hot with full sun.

The room we had was very small, it had an extremely small bathroom, it needed paint & cleaning.
Even though we didn’t like the room the staff was wonderful. They were really nice & very helpful. I’m
Sure the golfers like it a bit more than I did.
Small room and bathroom. Twin beds are smaller than standard one but super comfortable. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. Quiet and safe location. Awesome breakfast buffet.

Our 2 night stay was pretty good. The property is old, and the exterior shows some expected age. The inside of the hotel is very nice, and restaurant is beautiful. We stayed in a cabin, which gave us a lot of space and rooms, but felt the bedroom and bathroom was inline for a refresh. The pool and fitness rooms were unfortunately closed due to renovations…so we were a little disappointed in that. The Golf course is very close, and was fun to play, but thought it lacked some TLC….although the green fees were more than reasonable!! The staff at the hotel and golf course were great. Overall it is a beautiful property with a lot of character and charm…and staff who make your stay very enjoyable.
Very nice facility with lovely view of the water.
Dinner in the restaurant is highly recommended.
Breakfast was excellent
It was nice to see Canada made furniture from Napanee Ontario, Gibbard, in most rooms. Sadly Gibbard has closed down but their furniture is long lasting.

Our room was clean and comfortable however my husband had to hold up the toilet seat because of use the bathroom due to poor design. The walls had lots of paint chipping, we could definitely hear the family next door and the hallways desperately needed a vacuum. They also don't serve lunch in the main hotel, so we just went into town. Overall the facility was nice just a few small details.

Staff were helpful and professional. The resort seems to be in need of attention.
The hallways could use vacuuming, the pool was not in service and doesn't look like it will be anytime soon and the Golf course needed maintenance/
This property has a lot of potential, It has been neglected and is in need of improvements and renovations. The rooms are small and the bathroom is dated to the 70's. There is no fridge provided in the room and the furniture is dated. The pool was i n operable and being filled with a garden hose. The tennis courts are overgrown and need some TLC to bring it back to use. The breakfast buffet is excellent with many hot and cold food choices, the restaurant staff were friendly and courteous.

This hotel is in need of upgrading and could be cleaner. The hotel must have been a lovely place back in the day but has been left to deteriorate both inside and out. The staff do the best they can, however the owner should seriously consider putting some money into fixing, cleaning, and upgrading this hotel and property. All of that being said, the bed was very comfortable, the bed linen lovely and a full breakfast being included was a nice touch.
Buffet breakfast was awesome.! Staff were very helpful and tried to solve our problems…#1- heat pump stuck on cool..provided extra blankets
#2- unable toget into bed as the mattress was the very high ( I am 5-6) provided a stool and offered to change rooms..which was not practical as we were very tired and ready to sleep! Once I finally got into bed it was very comfortable.
I have stayed at The Pines before and have had no problems but this time…I was disappointed
The buffer breakfast was the best thing and the staff in dining room were really nice. The hotel is very run down, paint peeling, curtain linings rotten, so outdated, terrible shame. Swimming pool a disgrace, it’s crumbling, they should remove the mess in the pool at least to show they are actually trying. The whole thing needs to be replaced.
The room had an old musty smell. Front Desk helpful to set up the air cleaning function on the new wall mounted climate control system. The comforter was so lumpy I asked it be changed. This was done promptly. The door to the room was extremely sticky when entering or leaving the room. No gym available. Breakfast was good. Furnishings dated and all glass needs cleaning, but the building has lots of beautiful history and the grounds are gorgeous. All the staff were very nice and the setting and view is beautiful. I would stay again.
The character of the resort is beautiful. The staff were great. The breakfast buffet was AMAZING as were the views

The Digby Pines is a classic. It has a unique ambience and is located in the loveliest of settings with gorgeous views. It has beautiful mature landscaping. We are regular visitors and noticed that the building and cottages appear to be nicely spruced up. We noticed that the shrubs and greens were not as well maintained as they have been in the past. It has been a dry summer ... We had a suite which was very spacious and even had a jacuzzi. The bed was very comfortable and the aircon was great. TV was smallish for a suite. We stayed for two nights and on the first day room waste was not removed and coffee was not replenished. We loved b'fast at Churchill's (must have some of the nicest eggs benedict around!). We also had dinner and had hoped for better fare: chowder was greyish and quite salty; shrimps and scallops were somewhat over seared. Dinner service was otherwise very welcoming and helping make the evening most enjoyable. Thank you!
The hotel is a beautiful old CP Hotel. The lobby, dining room and all common rooms are beautiful. The room we stayed in definitely needs some renovation. Especially the carpet! The sink in the bathroom was very slow to drain and stuff came up into the sink. Not sure what it was.
The breakfast was delicious! Kudos to the chef. We had supper in the dining room, the food was very good. Our server Ting does an excellent job, very pleasant and personable!
Was attending a training workshop held onsite. Facility/hotel Staff were very friendly & polite. Location was clean and presented well. Room & bed were clean, comfortable. I would visit again.
