"Cuarto limpio, desayuno buffet del domingo muy bueno. La de los otros días, muy básico, no acorde con el estándar de un hotel de esas características. Si bien la atención del front desk fue buena, hubo momentos en que no había nadie en la recepción. En términos generales, una estadía placentera."

"What a special property. The grounds were so beautiful especially the 110 year old avocado trees that reminded us of live oaks. The staff was so wonderful, because they weren’t fully booked, they gave us our choice of rooms. We chose one with a spectacular view of Banos Pueblo below. Our reservation included breakfast and dinner which was excellent, lots of choices both local and international. We also used the spa, which was affordably priced and very nice. The pools and terrace cafe was an excellent place to watch the sunset. Would definitely recommend this hotel if you’re staying in the Banos de Agua Santos area."

"We stayed here for two nights. It was just ok. Don't expect anything over the top considering how much you're paying. Breakfast is traditional Ecuadorian food. The hotel is close to all the downtown festivities and shops and is directly across the street from the city's main waterfall. We stayed here the weekend of Palm Sunday. The city was crazy with people, especially outside of the hotel. So, if you stay here that particular weekend, be prepared to be awakened very early (4am) in the morning with hundreds of people who have come to bath in the hot pools and waterfall. "

"Our stay at Samari Spa Resort was truly unforgettable. The property itself is absolutely stunning—elegant, peaceful, and surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty. From the moment we arrived, we could feel that this was a special place. What made our experience even more meaningful, though, was the warmth of the staff. Every single person—from reception to the restaurant—was not only professional, but genuinely kind and welcoming. They created an atmosphere that felt both luxurious and incredibly comfortable, which is not always easy to find. Traveling with young children (ages five and three), we weren’t sure what to expect at a more upscale resort, but it exceeded all expectations. This boutique hotel hosts only four rooms, which creates a sense of exclusivity and allows for very personalized service. I truly appreciated how friendly and attentive the staff were throughout my stay. I was warmly welcomed with a drink and given a detailed overview of the area. I also valued the daily advice I received from the staff on how to best experience Baños—they really helped elevate my trip. The views from the rooms are what truly set this hotel apart.
