"You get what you pay for and F1 hotels are definitely budget. This hotel is in need of a refurb, but it is good value. Staff are friendly, parking is great and breakfast traditional french continental, but fine and all you can eat."

"Cozy and beautiful lodging surrounded by nature."

"Very charming and comfortable. The rooms are modern but still hold the historic charm. The private jacuzzi was perfect for a relaxing stay with my husband after a long drive. I highly recommend the Clos des Lys."

"Well equipped clean house in a gorgeous setting Agnes was a superb host too We highly recommend it"

"Wonderful location, incredibly welcoming host and just the most lovely stay! The new pillows and mattress were an added bonus too!"

The property was listed as the one with an air conditioner. When we...

"Beautiful location, access to the river amazing.Property itself was ok, but in need of maintenance. Washing machine broken, dishwasher didn't work properly (mouldy and dishes came out dirty), drains and toilet smelled horrible (assume due to the septic tank?), electric gates got stuck all the time, very difficult to open and shut.We had a good time despite the above due to the lovely river access and proximity to fountainbleau and the forests, climbing and beautiful towns."

"Such a lovely area and wonderful place to spend our holiday. Already planning the return trip."
