"We had a wonderful stay at Marloth Park Riverside lodge. It is located about 15min drive outside the KNP crocodile bridge gate. The food was just ok but the staff is absolutely fantastic. "Lovely place for a relaxing few days. It's an hour from the main road by transfer if you don't have 4x4. Went out on boat and saw whales. Food generally very good - although some lunches lacked protein except cheese. Wifi was only available in a certain area - and limited to 250mb free after that you had to pay. Lovely big big beds! Beach totally secluded for miles and miles."

"The stay was very nice, staff friendly and the hotel is very clean. The standard double bed room is not a true double but more like a Queen size bed which was a nice surprise. My only suggestion to make it an even nicer stay would be to put a pillow topper on the mattress. It was extremely firm and woke me up a couple times that night but the next time we go to Maputo we would stay there again. "

"A 4x4 vehicle is ABSOLUTELY necessary to get to the villa. Once we actually found the place because GPS and directions the site provided were not accurate, it is beautiful.
