"We've just come back from the villa. 2 families with 3 children aged 9, 9 and 8. The villa is very closed to the beach which is a really long beach (6 kms I believe). Everything in the house was as we were expecting. The resort is very relaxing and family orientated. We felt really safe. Plenty of Chiringuitos to have a tapa and a drink!"

"This is a lovely little villa in a quiet plaza with very nice gardens, next to the restaurant Los Conteros. Its within easy walking distance of Villaricous and the market square. It has a well equipped kitchen and when we stayed it was also well stocked with herbs and spices bought from the local market. "The staff in every area are wonderful. It's a very Spanish environment which we loved. Spanish couples,families and groups of all ages and types. Food was of fantastic quality and value - and fresh different options every day. The pool is actually like two large pools, one deep , so great for swimming. Both pools kept clean and no inflatables or ball games except organised water polo. Lots of sunbeds Right on the sea. Negatives? The parasols need replacing, and the rooms are large but very basic furnishings. However spotless and bathrooms refurbished. Aircon centrally controlled and we like much cooler. But this is a Spanish hotel and like Spanish taxis, warm for us. The beach looks great but sand coarse and gritty. It shelves immediately. So overall fantastic value and thankfully very Spanish. If you want English experience wrong resort for you. "
