"Beautiful hotel and friendly staff. "

"Overall, the stay was great. It is away from the main town, but has restaurants, fast food and coffee near by. My main complaint was the breakfast. if you wanted the hot breakfast, it was bland scrambled eggs and cardboard bacon, no potatoes. The coffee was weak to me. No fear though, a Starbucks is next door :-)"

"Terrible experience, homeless people everywhere including smoking weed, having visibly weapons on them. We also asked the front desk lady for a new room and she very very rude. "

"Room was dirty . Bathroom door and closet door had dirty hand prints . Over all never stayed in a dirtier room . Went to front desk , asked for extra blanket clerk said they had no blankets. Asked in the morning if they had blankets and the morning clerk said yes. Not a good experience.!"

"Room was mid. Cons: Toilet wasn’t flushing properly, cabinet drawers kept opening (likely due to various slamming doors from other people), various outlets didn’t work. Gym was tiny & elliptical machine was only there for show (it was rusted & there was no cord/plug to power it); no towels stocked at gym (at 6:30 am). No included breakfast - you can pay $15 per person voucher for a meal you typically would have for free at similar hotels. Pros: room was clean; bed was comfortable. Close the freeway and some amenities "

"Sofa bed was very filthy. Cleaning crew was very loud in the hallways during early hours of the morning. Room was in the very back near an entrance so was very loud."

"The best thing about the hotel was the morning breakfast. The hotel was pretty clean. The downsides were. They didn’t have coffee throughout the day only during breakfast time Bakersfield gets very hot and there was no shaded areas at the pool the pool area was also very small.They had no umbrellas the outside area in the front of the hotel, they have a sitting area and there are absolutely no shaded areas or umbrellas. The rooms were pretty small. "
