We enjoyed every minute of our stay in the property along with its landscaped garden and lovely pool, all in a wonderfully peaceful rural setting. Security and safety measures were very reassuring. The Gite was equipped and finished to a high standard and provided everything needed along with an excellent bathroom with large shower, a spacious lounge for daytime...

"This place can do the job for a worker used to tough conditions, but I don't recommend this place for a family break. Many amenities were not fully functional (rusty microwave oven, cooktop hard to manage, ultra minimal dishes and cutlery, almost unusable pan...) The overall cleanliness is unpredictable, as it mostly depends upon the good will of the previous guest."

"Nancy, the owner, provided top-shelf hospitality both through her facility and personally through her customer service! As a hostel, she really goes above and beyond, and Friendly Auberge would be a bargain at twice the price! Don't even get me started about how much I loved her fixed-price pilgrim menu in the restaurant! For me personally, her being an ex-pat American was hugely valuable as I cannot speak French."

"This is not the place to book if you’re looking for a typical Ibis type hotel, with streamlined bathrooms & smart decor. But if you’re looking for staying in a genuine old French country cottage, with welcoming owners and good food this place is worth a try. We enjoyed the food, ambience, & dinner outside in the garden."
