The host, Lilja, is truly one of the kindest people I’ve ever met, so welcoming, thoughtful, and genuinely caring, which made the whole experience even more special. The accommodation itself is so cozy and beautifully kept, the perfect place to relax and unwind after exploring the Faroe Islands. Every detail felt intentional and comforting. Breakfast was such a highlight each morning, absolutely incredible. Lilja prepares everything herself using local ingredients and takes the time to explain what she’s made, which makes it feel so personal and special. Sitting in her kitchen enjoying a fresh, delicious breakfast was such a memorable and cozy experience. I also have to mention Simba, the adorable cat, such a sweet and calming presence. "We had a nice stay at this property...The village is a dream and the hikes a block away are a bonus! Definitely the location is one of the best things. Dinners are the second best things...menu is limited but the food is absolutely delicious and well presented. The service at the restaurant is fantastic...it was truly a pleasure. The 4 stars are for the cleanliness...our room (Annex room) was not vacuumed during our stay. Since it's basically a hiking place your boots are always dirty even if you leave them at the door. Just something to improve. "
