"De locatie van het hotel is prachtig gelegen aan de Rursee, met een groot buitenterras. Als je in het laagseizoen gaat is het heel rustig en is de omgeving perfect geschikt voor mooie wandelingen. Het hotel zelf voelt in de kamers ietwat gedateerd aan, maar het is wel allemaal schoon en alles werkt naar behoren. Het zelfbedieningsrestaurant is goed, maar ook niet meer dan dat. "The staff is very friendly and the rooms are cleaned daily. The buffet breakfast is delicious with a great selection. Dinner is offered as well, which is very convenient if you don't feel like driving into the city. Overall, a nice place to stay!"

"Lovely accommodation in a beautiful area though we were on foot backpacking and unfortunately there was no evening food available so we didn’t eat as it was a walk back into town. Nice area to explore either walking or cycling and was very close to walk to the ferry on Rursee to go on to Rurburg. "

Auch im Inneren zeigt sich ein veralteter Zustand – zwar grundsätzlich funktional, aber längst nicht mehr zeitgemäß. Was uns jedoch auf dem Weg ins Zimmer und im Zimmer selbst erwartete, kann man nur als Renovierungs-Fail bezeichnen: Flur: Unsachgemäß verlegte Fliesen und hochstehende Teppichkanten stellen eine deutliche Stolpergefahr dar. "I arrived on a Monday but was disappointed to learn the restaurant was shut. Had to drive back into Düren for food. Germany doesn't seem to like Mondays! Hotel is good, if not slightly tired, but very clean and I slept well. My Monday evening disappointment was short lived following a very welcoming and wonderful breakfast. Very nice staff."

"Everybody should know that you have to read the little text of the booking carefully before coming to this hotel. They don´t speak other than germany and we did not manage to get anybody answering the phone. They require photo of you ID and of the credit card before coming even if you have paid the room in advance. Only then you get the code for the entrance and to your room.
