The hotel has multiple entrances to the rooms from outside so be prepared they don't have lifts in some parts of the buildings. The housekeeping team is amazing and respectful. The location of fantastic so close to the train station and city centre. We got partial view over the cathedral what was unexpected. The beds are comfortable. Do not go there if it's a heat wave as they don't have air-conditioning.

STAY ANYWHERE ELSE…. Not sure how they can classify this as a hotel, it’s a hostel at best - beware the pictures showing “private bathroom” as the reality was it was a shared bathroom, and if you’re not in the “main building” then there is no lift to get to your room. Was promised a changed room to their main building, when I packed my bags and went to reception, they said I was too late and could no longer get the upgrade, in addition, whole experience was a joke

For anyone who enjoys the psychological thrill of absolute administrative incompetence paired with the interior layout of an urban terrarium, Hotel Central is a masterclass in disappointment. Our stay began with the front desk engaged in an existential debate over whether our room existed, was occupied, or was simply lost to the void. Once cleared, we were routed out of the building entirely, embarking on a 100-meter trek down the block past sizzling kebab vendors—only to stand stranded on the pavement because the staff never bothered to hand over a key to the exterior entrance. Upon finally breaching the room, we discovered that the only pristine element was the neatly made bed. The rest of the space was an architectural nightmare designed around complete exposure. Flanking the mattress was a massive, floor-to-ceiling glass patio door entirely stripped of curtains, blinds, or privacy film. Directly beyond the glass sat a grim industrial corridor: a tangled web of humming AC compressors, exposed ducting, and dozens of directly facing neighbor windows. Compounding this disaster was the absolute refusal to provide functional furniture. The room contained precisely two places to sit: the toilet and the mattress. This left us with an absurd binary choice—either remain sequestered in the bathroom, or lounge on the bed and provide the entire alleyway with an involuntary, brightly lit peep show every time we wanted to rest our legs.

WARNING: DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL THROUGH EXPEDIA Despite our booking being confirmed weeks in advance, when we arrived at the hotel they told us that our booking didn’t exist and that they were fully booked so we would have to find somewhere else to stay. The receptionist seemed apologetic and explained that most of the hotels in the city were fully booked due to an event. She also explained that as our booking was with Expedia she could not issue us a refund unless we got Expedia to start the process. Unfortunately this was not much help and we were left stranded at 1am without a place to stay. I cannot comment on the hotel’s facilities or rooms as we did not experience them. The reception seemed clean but and the staff were nice but they were not very helpful considering our situation. I understand there was not much they could have done but helping us find a hotel or trying to get in touch with the manager could have been helpful? I will mention that Expedia themselves were extremely unhelpful during the entire situation. I could not get in contact with anyone that night and it took 5 hours the next day to speak to a supervisor despite multiple attempts. We ended up walking around for hour and a half and trying 6 hotels that night before we found one that had an available room for an extortionate price. Thankfully Expedia did reimburse us for this and arrange a refund for our origional booking however it took 2 days of back and forth before this was arranged.

Lage ist nicht alles ... schlechtestes Hotel in meinen 40 Jahren Erfahrung ... never never again ... sucht Euch lieber was anderes ... lauft lieber 500m weiter und/oder zahlt woanders 30 Euro mehr als dieses Ding zu buchen ! Es wird sich lohnen ! Absolut schlecht !

La ubicación es primordial, a un par de calles de la estación central del tren. Único detalle, no funcionó el elevador y el cuarto estaba en el tercer piso, pero uno de los chicos del staff me apoyo subiendo mi equipaje.
