"Lovely location with great views over Portpatrick.
It was such a wet day and we were delighted when we were able to have our room a little bit earlier than the check in time of 3pm, even more so, when our room was upgraded to a balcony room. As soon as you enter the hotel you are stunned by the terrific view over Portpatrick at the reception and then again from our lovely, bright spacious and very clean bedroom. Loved having the bath and powerful shower. We enjoyed a drink in the comfortable lounge before going for a walk. We enjoyed our dinner, pate, chicken and mushroom pie and fish and chips. The breakfast next morning was even better with the added addition of fresh fruit salad to the selection of cereals etc. My husband had the Fernhill Grill and I had the Eggs Benedict. The eggs were cooked to perfection! Staff all very pleasant. Thoroughly enjoyed our overnight stay and would highly recommend this hotel. Thank you."
