"Staff was nice. Bed was awful, had a backache the entire time I stayed. Pool and hot tub had so much chlorine it literally burned my eyes within five minutes. I know it’s a pet friendly hotel but there was a dog across the hall that barked at all hours. I believe the owners were warned but it didn’t stop anything. At what point does pet friendly trump other guests relaxation?"

"Unique Hampton Inn in a beautiful setting and convenient to urgent needs shopping and local hospital. Breakfast staff, especially Casey, was attentive and helpful, but the check-in staff, not so much."

"Very nice and clean place to stay while visiting my son at W&L for a few days. It was about a 15 minute drive to W&L but easy to do. The two rooms were perfect for our group of 3. The larger room had a bigger bed and plenty of space. The smaller bedroom had a desk which was perfect for working during the day. The jack and jill bathroom was spacious and clean. The kitchen had a small table for 4 and all that we needed - refrigerator, oven, stove, microwave, toaster, and Keurig coffee machine. I baked cookies with my son and we got to hang out at the house for a few hours together which was nice for a change in scenery. There was a small living room area with a couch and leather chair in the corner, good sized TV. My mom used the washer and dryer and said it was very convenient to have in the house. In summary, a really wonderful place to stay and communication with Michelle was top-notch. Highly recommended!"

"The hotel is close to downtown Lexington. The hotel walls are very thin, you can hear everything from the hall to the adjacent rooms. The room was a good size and we had the Mountain View’s from the window. Beds were comfy. Breakfast didn’t have many options. The reception staff was very nice."
