"Gerard could not have done more to help, after Lilian let us in and showed us round with virtually no English and us with limited French. The village is delightful and the location was perfect, with an excellent restaurant a walk away at the bottom of the hill, overlooking a lake and run by an English lady and her American partner. They had 72 covers, including outside, on the night before we went there to eat, and about 40 on a night when we almost decided to risk not booking, but as the rain...

"A lucky choice on my route, when i booked this hotel. Its run by a very welcoming Dutch man and his wife. I had a very nice evening meal along with some other Dutch guests, so very pleasant. My room had everything i wanted, was clean and comfortable and had a great view of the lake. It also overlooked where my motorbike was parked, which was a bonus. I did enjoy my stay and would definately stay again. "

"Lovely spot for an overnight on the way down through France, kids loved the facilities including pool and the accommodation was quirky and fun. Staff were really friendly and the food and coffee were great after a long day driving."

"L’endroit mérite une rénovation complète. Le logement est propre mais une odeur d’égout envahît les pièces. L’entretien autour des logements est très négligé. L’endroit est éloigné des commerces. Le fait de devoir réserver la veille pour le restaurant, n’est pas adapté aux vacances. Le rivière est pleine de vase. C’est peu engageant de se reposer au bord. "

"A fabulous 2 night stay. Very convenient for lake vassieviere. The outside space was exceptional, we enjoyed the garden, the pool. There were outdoor games but we were too lazy! We stayed for dinner and breakfast both days. Wonderful food, with attentive service, convivial atmosphere and a superb setting. A real authentic stay. We can't thank our hosts enough."
