"Excellent property with very helpful owners, who live 5 mins away. The only problem (internet access) was solved immediately. The early Monday morning market in Louhans is a must, with excellent and inexpensive local produce as well as traditional clearance lines. The setting is so much better than it looks on the website, with a relaxing country view towards the hidden chateau behind the trees, as well as nightly visits by deer in the field across the track. "The hotel is quite isolated and there are no dining options around. It is advertised as having air conditioning, but I would not rely on that. Luckily it cooled down at night. Comparing to other hotels in the area, it was overpriced for what it offers."
