"Very nice new hotel. Clean rooms, amazing infinity pool and the views to die for. The breakfast was disappointing as the quality of the food was just average and the selection very poor contrasting with the rest of the hotel."

"Another hidden Gem in the Douro Valley. Situated right on the river. Great resturants close by. Breakfast was wonderful and parking simple. Relaxing and peaceful."

"Big rooms, big parking and beautifull pool"

"This is a wonderful hotel, fantastic location & facilities. Staff are amazing, we really enjoyed staying there, highly recommended. Food was excellent !! "

"I loved everything about this property. We also have dinner at the restaurant, and went to the bar for drinks, and the views were spectacular at sunset."

"The property has stunning views and spacious rooms but lack little things like tissue or a waste basket. Our room wasn’t as clean as I expected with random hair in the bathroom. The bathroom had glass walls which is ok but a door for toilet privacy would be appreciated. The shower floor wasn’t tile but linoleum that gave way as you stepped on in. There is a restaurant and bar. Food was tasty. Did not use the pool or spa. "

"Stayed one night with friends touring Portugal. Stayed here about 15 years ago and it hasn’t changed a bit. Location is great, short walk to down centre. Plenty of parking and set in large open space. Staff are very friendly and efficient, with a quick and easy check in. I wouldn’t want to stay a week but for a night or two it’s completely acceptable. "

"The owner was extremely friendly and welcoming. We met her son and our son was allowed to play with his toys. Bent over backwards to ensure we had a nice stay. Excellent value for money"

"Basic rooms, great staff and good free parking"

"The place was amazing, the staff were very helpful and though I got there late Anna Tavares the owner was very helpful in getting me in. Can’t say enough about the place, excellent."

"Die Quinta ist abseits und ruhig gelegen, gut für Erholung und Entspannung. Der Gastgeber sorgt sich hier persönlich um das Wohl der Gäste, die Art des Frühstückes ist ein Genuss, abends wird ein selbst gekochtes, leckeres Diner angeboten. Eine Unterkunft und ein Gastgeber mit Herz!"

"Will stay here again"

"Good value and location, with great river views. Free underground parking. Basic breakfast included."
