"Friendly and helpful check in staff. Nice ground floor room which was good as we have a dog Nice looking building with a car park. Grass area around the hotel car park needs tidying up. Did not use the bar or restaurant, but looked very nice"

"We had a lovely week staying at Nigel and Suzanne’s farmhouse. The house is a really nice place to relax, and tastefully decorated and with plenty of space. The pool is great, especially on the really hot days, and the loan of the bikes was much appreciated for a quick ride to the local shops and further afield. "Nous sommes arrivés le vendredi soir pour un week-end familial près de La Rochelle. Après des échanges durant la semaine pour organiser notre arrivée, et l'envoi d'un mail d'explication de Madame JOURDAIN. L'arrivée à été conforme à ce qui avait été convenu. Accueil très chaleureux. Madame JOURDAIN a été disponible tout le week-end si besoin. Le logement, propre et adapté pour toute la famille correspondait parfaitement à nos attentes. Le petit plus pour les enfants (et les grands), le jardin...

"Excellent pool, charming small group of gites, lovely walk to nearby village but few facilities there (although bread available from dispenser next to Mairie). Good boulangerie at le Thou a short drive away. We enjoyed exploring La Rochelle and going to the nearest beaches. Owners live on-site and were very helpful."
