"Hotel manager was very helpful. We had to change our reservations due to contacting Covid and it was not great with Hotels.com talking to the hotel, but our local associates managed to change the reservations without penalty and then we had our returning flight cancelled, so needed to add another day. Management was helpful."

Very good staff who are welcoming and go out of their way to do the little things, like help you get an Angolan SIM card or even just point you to the nearest supermarket. The rooms are well appointed and spacious - perfect for business - and the location is nice and central. Extra bonus is the free transfer from the 'old' airport (beware, Luanda now has two international airports). I was so impressed I'm staying there again.

Stupidly expensive hotel, but then that is just what happens in Luanda. Rooms were very clean, breakfast buffet good, and room service food reasonable (but costly). If you've got business with the oil companies downtown, not a bad place to stay -- they are all walkable and driving/taxis in Luanda are impossible. They were good at helping me set up a reliable private driver to get to meetings in Talatona. When they take the imprint of your credit card to cover expenses put down the minimum...
