Access to beach was excellent, view was fantastic from our 1 bedroom. Minor issues with the condo, living room furniture was not the most comfortable. The condo overall was nice and clean but could use some general updates. The resort was nice as to access to the pool, hot tub and everything as to amenities.

We love Pelican Beach Resort!!

We had a wonderful time at Pelican Beach Resort. The resort is gorgeous and our suite was absolutely beautiful and luxuriously updated!! The views of the beach from the patio are simply amazing and relaxing. That was our second time going and we will definitely be back again!!

Friendly staff and very helpfully very nice place will go back it was central located in Destin. The beach area was nice and not far of a walk to get from room to the beach.

This property is nice especially the view it was awesome,but what I didn't like the toilet overflow and it took awhile for someone to come and housekeeper never came to clean so we had to clean up the mess.The restroom in the master room the tub could use an update and as well as the kitchen appliances

Pictures don't tell all...

Overall our trip was good. But the room we were given you could tell was not taken care of. The walls and the ceiling were patched together with different colors. The showers didn't really work as they should but we were able to get by. I viewed a friends room three doors away from ours which they booked with a different company and theirs was so much nicer. When we decided to go to the beach we had purchased a tent to keep our 19 month old in during naps and so he wouldn't get burnt only to get there and them tell us we couldn't use it and we couldn't set up lower than the chairs that had been purchased. But the places on both sides of us didn't have these rules. So because we couldn't afford to rent one of their chairs we couldn't enjoy being right by the water or our nice new beach tent.

Pelican Beach Resort is a great place to stay in Destin. It is in a great location, rooms are spacious & clean, elevators are quick. We enjoyed our stay and the direct beach front.

The property was very run down, chips on walls in the room, the elevators had a bad musty/moldy smell, the shower curtain liner was old and needed changing in the master. Front desk staff was not friendly or helpful. The pool was small so it was often overcrowded. They put out so many chairs and umbrellas that you couldn’t even see the ocean without leaving.

Went there for my girls cheerleaders nationals.The apartment was clean and well supplied (dishes, pots pans, utensils ect..) Staff was friendly and helpful. Loved the view of the ocean A great spot. Girls won 1st place in the Mini category.

we were headed over to check in when I got a text to go right to the hotel as the office was closing at 5. But I STILL had to go back to the office the next day to check in- only to be given directions to the hotel ( I WAS ALREADY THERE). The office didn't open til 9...so a late start on that day as we had to hang around and check in. Just for a list of things/liabilities. "Clunky process"

The view was beautiful and loved access to the beach, but that is about the only pros. As for the cons, there are a ton of them. It was filthy including dirt blowing from the a/c because of no a/c filter; food, snacks, and clothes were behind the bunk beds; there was ants in both bathrooms; almost all of the towels were stained; the furniture was very old and all of it stained. The balcony door was very difficult to open so much so that our 8 year old could not open it by herself. The bed was very uncomfortable and bedroom located next to the outdoor hallway so it was the warmest room and very noisy. We had 2 box fans that we used the first night because of warmth and then someone came in the room the next day and left a wrench on the counter and took the box fans out without giving us any notice. We felt very violated with this. No hangers, no hairdryer, the ironing board needed replaced, no shelfing in the bathroom so use the ironing board to hold toiletries and the dresser was so dirty we didn't unpack our suitcases. No lightbulb in one of the lamps, refrigerator made lots of noise and everything either needed cleaning or a fresh paint job. Paint, which is flammable, was stored in the closet with the a/c and hot water heater. After calling the front desk and finding out they don't own or manage it and there was nothing they could do we called the phone number for our booking and found out they didn't own it either and there was no maintenance workers available an

Amazing!!!!!

Stayed in a room with a view, one king bed, twin bunk beds and pull out couch bed. OMG it was amazing. A lot more spacious then I imagined. View was absolutely breath taking. I didn’t want to leave! I will definitely be back and would stay here again! The only issue I had was since I booked through Travelocity I had to drive about 10 minutes passed the resort to check in some where which didn’t make sense but it wasn’t a big deal. Overall we loved it and had an amazing time

Our favorite vacation and room was nice just.....

We absolutely enjoyed our trip to Destin, it was by far our family’s favorite vacation. The room was nice, a little dated. Room looked clean but the floors were dirty. You could tell they had not mopped in a while, as our feet got black after taking a shower and walking around barefoot in the condo.

I’m looking for the Golden Girls

The resort itself is ok the rooms by Resortquest are beyond out of date and there has been NO maintenance done in years and years. We had a fan that could not be run because the blades were dropping screws in the globe as it ran. The bathroom was grosss. All towel bars had been jerked out of the wall at some point and holes never filled. Different tile in every room. We paid WAY TO MUCH to stay in a glorified motel. The only good thing was it was ocean front. Oh by the way the master bedroom is on the front of the condo so you get to hear ever person walk by talking and rolling luggage and coolers. The people from Resort Quest said they were sending someone to replace the fan we just checked out and the same fan is still there.
