The hotel is located in the centre, opposite the ferry terminal. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great with hot or cold dishes. We had a balcony overlooking the promenade - a great stay!!

This location is excellent, and the hotel is clean. Definitely check out Easy Boat Rentals - they let us rent a boat for 8 all day and play on the lake! It was a highlight of the trip. Lots of good shopping and eating very walkable.

This hotel was exceptionally clean, had a beautiful breakfast and the staff were so helpful. I would come back here definitely went in the area. It also uses the Waterfront and has access to the ferry Boat Service. You are also right in the area to go shopping get on dining

Fantastic location opposite the lake and by the boat departure points. Get a first floor room with lake view balcony. Nice breakfast. Would come again! The little museum to the right (3 min walk) is worth a visit.

The hotel staff is TOP NOTCH. Very helpful for anything you need. Breakfast is very nice, location is perfecto, and Momo is the best waiter in the game. 100% recommend this place if traveling to Desenzano

Lovely hotel with a fantastic location, friendly staff and a clean room. Only small minus was the air-con that didn’t feel powerful enough in the heat but we managed, overall a really great stay and would go again!

Lovely small hotel in a great location. Staff were really helpful and friendly. A good choice of food at breakfast. It was surprisingly quiet in the room considering its location. We would definitely return to this hotel.

Very beautiful hotel, very well situated just in front of the port. Very easy to transfer to other cities on the lake. A bit noisy because in central piazza but fully soundproof so no problems for sleeping . Because in center of city very good selection of restaurants and shopping.

Best possible location. Biggest complaint is the staff would entwr your room and turn iff the airco when you left the room, even with do not disturb sign hung. This is a no frills but adequate hotel. The location is what makes it great. Lake view rooms right in the heart of town

Lovey room and a nice view of the water from our balcony. Air conditioned room with all you could need and very clean. Staff were friendly and helpful and allowed us to store our cases at the hotel on our final day so we could head out on the ferry. Location is ideal as you can see the ferry stop from the hotel. Would definitely stay here again.

Very well situated next to the Lake and close to the car park. Hotel was clean and well maintained. Unfortunately UK adaptors do not work in this hotel but we found an adaptor on the room kettle so were able to use this with our own adaptors. Staff weren't particularly friendly.

Amazing stay

The Hotel is right on lake and what a view. We stayed in the balcony room that is pictured on Hotel's.com The pictures don't give it justicee.Stinning views. The staff were brilliant and always smiling.Great choice at breakfast and included gluten-free options.Will definitely be back. 3 star Hotel with 5 star service.

Absolutely recommend

The location was incredible. We had a room not facing the streets so it was quiet enough although we hear very well what is happening in other rooms. Overall, it was quite clean, except under the bed which needed vacuuming. We had a very nice stay here. Breakfast was also amazing and staff was friendly and helpful.

Centrally located hotel

Very nice hotel in a beautiful central location close to the ferry port and with a view of the lake. It is a ten minute walk from the train station. The rooms were comfortable with all the expected facilities. Breakfast had a wide range of continental choices as well as scrambled eggs and bacon. The coffee was excellent. There are a wide range of bars, restaurants and shops close by. If I were visiting Desenzano in the future I would have no hesitation in staying at Hotel Tripoli.
