The Space:
Small families, couples, and weekend adventurers will find the perfect place for a relaxing coastal escape in Sea Spray, an oceanfront condo in Depoe Bay. Enjoy an inviting interior filled with modern comforts, sweeping views of the Central Oregon Coast, and a great location near several restaurants, varied souvenir shops, and amazing views from the rocky seawall. (The easiest sandy beach access is about two miles north at Fogarty Creek.)
Spend a quiet weekend indoors or rest between your adventures in this condo's comfortable confines. Wake with a fresh cup of joe from the Keurig coffeemaker, then review your day's plans. Catch a refreshing nap on leather sofas in the living area, or watch cable TV for entertainment. You could also pour some Oregon pinot, head out the deck, and settle into Adirondack chairs to take in the dramatic views of the rugged coastline.
The open-concept kitchen has everything you'll need to cook fresh-caught Dungeness crab and other local specialties, including stainless steel appliances and varied cookware. Enjoy group meals at the four-seat table, or take your meal onto the deck for an alfresco experience.
Time to call it a day? Retire home for restful slumber in either of two sleeping areas. A telescope in one bedroom is perfect for glimpsing twinkling nighttime stars, whales and ships, or a sunset on the horizon.
Depoe Bay is a quaint community featuring the world's smallest navigable harbor. You'll be less than a half-mile from the OPRD Whale Watching Center for great views of the seasonal gray whale migration, a half-mile from Dockside Charters for crabbing and fishing excursions, and about 12 miles from both Lincoln City to the north and Newport to the south.
Ready for some day trips? Head 14 miles north for stand-up paddleboarding, kayaking, and boating in Devils Lake, or go slightly farther north for gambling at Chinook Winds Casino. If you've brought kids, they'll love the educational exhibits and playful sea life at the Oregon Coast Aquarium in Newport, while those 21 and older will appreciate a brewery tour at Rogue Brewers on the Bay.
Please note: This unit is located against HWY 101, the harbor, and it is the lower unit to a 2 story building. There may be some ocean, traffic, and foot noise at times. Guests will need to use a staircase to access the bottom unit.

Came to this little slice of heaven for our Anniversary and it did not disappoint. Beautiful views clean and tidy little place . We enjoyed our stay . It does sit below the apartment upstairs so a little noise from upstairs as to be expected. Overall one of the best places ive stayed at on the coast.
We were excited to find a place that accepted pets (at no additional cost). The unit we stayed in was clean and the view was 100% unbeatable. Parking was in street only, but we didn’t have any problems finding a spot when we got back from a day out.
The location right across from the small strip of shops was a nice added bonus for a quick morning jaunt to get some coffee and breakfast.
We would have no hesitation to stay here again.

Stunning setting
This property is great in terms of location and accommodations. I felt like I was right on top of the ocean! Just stunning views and so close to town. I did have a little trouble when I arrived because I couldn't get the lock to work. Ended up calling and someone came to help right away. The only other negative is that I think the checkout time is too early.
This was ok for a short stay. Right in town but not a close walk to a beach. Common room floor was a bit different. Tv did not get very many channels. Beds were comfortable, great view ! There is a telescope but we could not get it to work.
The property was as described, but it was in a pretty busy area with significant street noise/traffic. However, once we were inside and down the stairs, all the street noise vanished. We did hear the upstairs neighbors, which sounded like someone walking around, and also when the cleaning crew came through up there. Although there was street parking only, with no designated spot, we did not have any trouble parking directly in front of the property during our Sunday-Tuesday stay. The view of the ocean from the back deck was amazing. We were able to do some whale watching from there. And from the telescope in the room, we could see a group of seals resting on a rock each morning. The room was not locked when we first arrived, and it took us a minute to figure out how to lock the door from the outside when leaving the room (enter the code, lock the door, then wait for the beeps).Overall, we were satisfied with this property and would stay again.

lots of stairs/parking distance changes hourly
nice modern downstairs basement apartment. to take dogs out you must climb the stairs, then go down steps to dog area. door lock very touchy, if you just barly touch wrong # not push, you will need to start over. view is fantastic.
Theunit was clean and inviting. The view from the deck was awesome! We were able to see whale spouts every day and one came close enough to give us great tail photos.
The only downside was the refrigerator. The current one is even smaller than the one in the listing photos. If staying a week, plan on using a cooler.

Nice location, not clean
The location is awesome. But the cleanliness was a joke. There was someone else’s hair EVERYWHERE! The bathroom floor, inside the bathroom drawers. There were dirty dishes in the cabinets. The beds were also awful. So hard and bouncy. I felt like I was going to bounce right off the bed. Also tried to contact management about cleanliness, but no response ever.

Awesome view from the property. I can't say enough about the view. Clean and comfortable. It has a private deck, and did I say, an awesome view of the ocean and cliffs.
There were a couple of downsides. First, there are fairly steep and a little bit slippery stairs to get into the unit. Those were a little difficult for my wifes knee replacement and our small dog struggled getting up the stairs.
The other issue was the noise from the upstairs unit. You could even hear the dog upstairs walking across the floor, in the downstairs unit.
We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again, if we could stay in the upper unit. That would eliminate the two issues we had.
Loved the view!
Great location right in Depoe Bay. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. Rental is a downstairs apartment with deck overlooking the ocean; no beach access. Nicer than expected; need to update pictures on website. Rental has been updated quite a bit, new flooring, kitchen, bathroom. Plenty of dishes, cookware. No spices/food storage containers (Just a heads up!) Two bedrooms both with queen beds, all doors are sliding barn doors for one bedroom and bathroom. It looks like they are in the process of adding another barn door to the second bedroom so be aware that it is wide open to the living area at this time. Only recommendation would be to add some curtains to the sliding glass door out to the deck to block light and add privacy.
It has an amazing view. Right on the ocean . We did see a whale in the harbor , while we were there. Probably could of seen the whale from the deck . There was an odor at the place. Musty & urine smell. Not to overpowering that it made me feel sick. Noticed it mostly by the bed. The toilet was loose. When we plugged in our phones , they kept falling out. Needs new outlets. In the one room it was like water was seeping from the floor. Almost like after shower from wet feet. Owner doesn’t want shoes wore inside. But floors weren’t that great. Overall it was a decent place. The views make up for the rest.
It wasn’t clear that this was the basement of a house and there would be tenants above us. If the people above us didn’t play drums everyday it would have been fine. Even though it is a basement it opens up to very nice view and deck right on the edge of the cove. The main problem with this stay was the floor. In both bedroom areas there was click together flooring and water would well up(and sometimes squirt up your legs) through the cracks when you would walk across it. Made the mistake of putting my bag down before I realized on day 2 what was happening…resulted in a very soaked bag along with most of my clothes. If there would have been laundry in the unit it would have been less of a problem, but as is it was kind of a bummer. I notified Vrbo about the floor/water issue, hopefully they will figure out the source of the water and pull up the floor and replace it. If this isn’t addressed it will likely result in toxic levels of mold as it gets warmer outside.
SUCH an incredible view. So comfortable and homie! My husband and I brought our 2 year old and it met every once of our needs. Food and entertainment are close! We will absolutely be staying here again!
This little place was cute and very clean with an amazing view right out of our back door! It was awesome watching the sun go down over the ocean. You can see whales from the deck, which seemed more active in the morning. The fence to the left of the deck had some resident racoons that were super cute fron a distance. So many shops and restaurants within walking distance. We had a great time, and will stay here again!
Nice place and location with incredible ocean/surf views. The place was clean and had all necessary ammenities and then some. The local contact was very responsive when we had a problem with the e-lock.
