Close to the beach and shopping/food area of Sanur, clean, quiet, reasonable wifi access throughout hotel & room, good value meals and room rate. Currently being renovated so small inconveniences. Will use it again on next visit.

Good location and breakfast. Smelly room
The room smelled strongly of damp. But the breakfast very nice and most of the staff friendly. Short walk to beach and on the doorstep of shops and restaurants.

You can do better in Bali
Room was dirty, sheets were stained. Toilet flushed half of the time and was constantly leaking water all over the floor. Doors had very large gaps all around edges not letting room cool down. Security latch on front door broken. Wifi signal poor. You can get so much more with your money in Bali

Affordable place to stay
I stayed at this hotel for 6 days. First night, I was allocated a room at L3. The room was simple. However, there was no hot shower. I checked out the next day to proceed to Tulamben for dive. Returned on the 3rd day and checked in was swift and hotel staffs were friendly. They could even recognized us. Breakfast at this hotel was great! There were several options to choose from and you just have to place your order and the chef will prepare them on the spot. The room was clean and amenities were basic - aircon works too well - too cold at night, 2 bottles of water were given daily, there was a mini fridge, however, no kettle for boiling hot water but u can get hot water from the water dispenser at the reception. Daily change of towel.

Checkin was easy. Smile on their faces. Near to Sanur beach. Helpful hotel staff. Good breakfast. Pros Wifi very strong Good bathroom with bathtub Cons Old furniture and sliding door. No pool

Staff were fantastic, room was very run down, clean but grungy. Sheets were freshly washed but old and stained. Mothballs in bathroom to cover up sewer smell. In the price vs value department I would book again for a quick night or two only if substantially cheaper. I am back in the area 4 days later and for very little extra money have a substantially better room.

OK for the price but a little run down
Front door to the room had a large gap in it, not very private. Breakfast was not good at all. Room itself was a good size, good to have a fridge & kettle. Hotel looks a little run down and parts of the room looked dirty but I think it was more from age rather than not being cleaned often. Staff were helpful and it is a good location. Stated free bicycle rental but we got charged. OK for a night or 2 but spend a little more & go elsewhere if staying in Sanur longer.

Budget hotel close to the beach
We had a 4 night stay at Kokoro. Had thought there was a pool for some reason, but alas, no, but 5 minute walk down the lane way and you were at the beach. Great location near many restaurants and warungs. Very friendly, helpful staff. We had a room on the 3rd floor, which was ok, comfortable, spacious, had average wifi and tv with some cable channels. Breakfast included, basic but ok. Has a japanese restaurant and spa facilities, but didn't use either. Was able to check in early and they had storage facility for our luggage on check out.

Abian Kokoro was really a wonderful stay for my last two days in Bali. The staff is very friendly and the room was great for a very cheap price.

Clean friendly and cheap
Small hotel, clean, good air con, friendly helpful staff. This hotel is a 2 minute walk to the beach. It's a simple basic place but perfect if you are easy going and self sufficient in your travels. Woild stay here again for sure.

Pleasant stay and friendly staff
I stayed here for 2 nights at the end of February in a triple room with my mum and brother. The hotel staff were very friendly throughout the duration of our stay. The room was basic, but clean, quiet and comfortable and a decent size. The bathroom smelt a little bit and there was no hot water, but when you are only paying £10-£15 a night you can't expect a 5*. We were given complimentary water each morning and there were 6 breakfast choices each day. The hotel is a 2-3 minute walk to the beach and very close to the Power of Oasis yoga studio and Aroma Spa. If you are in Sanur for a few nights and just need somewhere to lay your head at night while you are exploring during the day then this hotel is very affordable and comfortable.

Ooops i did it again
By the time writing we stayed there a second time for a couple of nights. This hotel is a great place to stay in Kuta for a low price and decent quality. Not comparable to high class hotels of course, but you get real value for the money you pay. We will probably stay go there again on our way back home, when we have to stay 1 night in Bali.

Hotel room with cockroaches
I stayed in room 106 on the ground floor for 14 days which is behind the Kitchen, when I first opened the door to my room I seen cockroaches running around, eventually, they all took off under the bed. I requested the staff to spray the room while I went for a walk and got a cold beer, I requested the staff to spray the room every other day as the little blighters kept coming back. I had to continually request for my sheets to be changed and for the floors to be cleaned, which the staff did without a grumble so I did not complain. The hotel is ok for say 2 nights but for no longer, do not stay on the ground floor as you will hear all the noises from the kitchen and its staff, there is one guy from the kitchen who clears the back of his throat with some vigor every morning between 6 and 6.30am not a nice noise ton wake up to. The hotel is close to the beach and a 5 star hotel next door which you can use their facilities for US$15.00 day per person which includes a beach towel, sunbed and use of their pool and gym, this was my Saviour during my stay.

Decent cheap hotel
This hotel is about 150 m walk to beach. There is no pool but they let you use their bicycles free of charge. Room has small fridge, tea and coffee making facilities in room, hairdryer and good hot water. We had a problem with the aircon not functioning well. We told the staff, went out for a bike ride and about an hour or so later when we returned, the aircon had been repaired.

Great Budget Hotel Near Beach
The staff went out of their way to make my stay nice. The room was clean, shower hot, AC COLD, good breakfast was included, wifi was strong to stream movies, cable TV with English Channel. For the price I paid for this room and the many amenities I have NO complaints. The staff helped me arrange transport to Ubud at a reasonable price.

This is not a hotel!!!! This is a room.
3 1/2 stars what a joke, I've staid in better youth hostels in my travels around the world, cheep it certainly was but it should be billed as a room with toilet not a hotel, booked for three to stay and only had 1 bed, staff great but they can't make a silk purse out of a sows ear!!!!! Lasted 1 night before the wife threatened to kill me unless we relocated which we did;( stop calling this a hotel and call it a overnight stopping place, no facilities on site, but staff realy friendly;) will go to sinuar again but not to this hostel!

Room condition is poor but location is OK

It was just an overnight stay. I've been there before though there have obviously been many others. Sheets getting worn, a/c not very cool and construction across the road . Good value for the money, lovely staff and easy access to the airport.

All in all, a pleasant stay (for me)
This place wasn't so bad - for me, that is. Aside from my girlfriend getting attacked by bed bugs... I managed just fine. Happy with the location, the friendly staff, the breakfast, etc. We paid very little for our room. You get what you pay for. Perhaps the other rooms are bug-free? Regardless, I thought it wasn't so bad. Check it out for yourself! PS: they even mailed my postcards for me.

The Staff worth the hotel
The best staff ever!!! all friendly and smiley people all the time. there are bicycles to use for free, they are not in a very good conditions, but for free its ok. The room are good with confortable beds and pillows. The shower is ok. I really want to come back there.

They doubled booked me and made me move to a sister hotel miles from beach. Sister hotel noisy and dirty and had terrible breakfast buffet. Very disappointed. However the Abian Kokoro staff were very pleasant and the restarUnt good.

A quick in & out
I just needed somewhere to lay my head having flown in late to Bali. I had a fast boat booked to Lembongan early-ish the next day, this hotel served a couple of purposes; bed, and close to Sanur. The price was right, the staff friendly & helpful, & the area quiet.

Het hotel was volgeboekt. We werden daarom in een ander hotel van dezelfde keten geplaatst, maar die was ver vamnhet strand. Ze boden aan ok ons opnte halen en bij het strandnaf te zetten, maar dat duurde zo lang dat we steeds maar met de taxi zijn gegaan.
