Convenient, family style, clean!

A great place to stay at the summer; close to beaches and restaurants, and best icecream store in town. Not only the room has been furnished with kitchen supplies and like an Air B&B; people also can cook downstairs at the grill. Highly recommended!

Great property close to Sea Street Beach. Friendly staff and a huge pool which was being painted while we were there in early June. Very close to Sundae School Ice Cream and several other quaint restaurants

Great location, 5 minute walk to Sea Street Beach. Classic Cape motel, well maintained, clean, quiet, good amenities (pool, grills). Staff very friendly and helpful. Many restaurants within walking distance. An excellent value for the rate I paid for 3 nights. Definitely recommended.

Basic, clean and comfortable. Great location also if you want to be very close to the beach. In general we loved staying in Dennisport. In the past we stayed in Yarmouth and this area is much more quiet and peaceful. Big beautiful pool which wasn’t open yet, free coffee and area info in the lobby.

Charming friendly medium-sized hotel walk to beach

The Doryman is a great experience if you want a friendly hotel that is in walking distance (5 min) to a beach (Sea Street in Dennisport). The owner is very friendly, the rooms are large, with some having kitchens. We liked the ability to sit outside our room with drinks or meals at the small chairs and table provided. Dennisport is really charming, as is Hariwchport Center (about 1 mile east). You can visit the office to self-serve coffee or espresso at any time of day, which is also a treat!

It’s outdated, but very clean and well kept. The owner is super nice. I do wish they’d put microwaves in EVERY ROOM, it wouldn’t cost them much and it’d be a great asset. I needed heat therapy for my neck and I couldn’t do it without a microwave. Going back and forth to the office to use theirs isn’t convenient.

Spacious rooms and very close to Sea Street Beach with all the amenities imaginable. This Cape Cod landmark provided us with the comfortable, nostalgic vacation we craved. We shall return in the springtime.

A Cape Cod Treasure

What a GREAT PLACE! Three minute walk to beach, wonderful pool, propane grills, close to many excellent restaurants, stores, etc. David, the owner, is very friendly & helpful, and does everything possible to make Doryman a relaxing & fun place to stay!

Perfect beach motel

Was just a block from the beach. The Doryman was quiet at night. No loud noises or heavy traffic. Was nice to go for a walk each morning and stop at the nearby restaurant for breakfast.

enjoyed our stay

Doryman Motel was just perfect! Close to the beach, had a pool and, more important, coffee in the morning. The only thing I would do is maybe provide a microwave in the standard room and move the smoking area maybe to the front of the pool area. People were up at 6 a.m. smoking and talking. Other than that it's a great motel and I would definitey stay there again and recommend it to friends!

This was the nicest hotel experience we have ever had. The owner/manager is extremely friendly and gets to know all of his guests. He even makes connections between his guests to make everyone feel at home. His office is open all day with coffee, tea and snacks and guests are encouraged to hang out in the chairs outside. It is only a short walk to the beach and a short bike ride to the Cape Cod Rail Trail. Bike racks in a safe storage area are available for guest use.

Ill tell you what… i typically never leave reviews but this time I had to. Not only was the Doryman conveniently located and reasonably priced for its location but the owner, David, was awesome. The hospitality that he brought tot he stay was unmatched. Not only was he incredibly pleasant but he did a spectacular job about making you feel right at home and was there whenever you needed anything. One of the best vacation stays I have had in a very long time. I 10/10 would recommend anyone—friends and family included—to stay here. You will not regret it.
