Talkeetna Tiny House Cabin Denali Indoor Sauna/firepit/bike/ski/multi-use trails

Talkeetna Tiny House Cabin 'Denali', is our biggest Tiny House Cabin. Located just 5 miles from downtown Talkeetna. Pets ok with pet fee and agreement to pet policy.
Enjoy a buddy fishing weekend, romantic getaway, or utilize our outdoor space and bring up family and friends for an amazing retreat. The cabin only sleeps 6 people. Feel free to inquire on a large group utilizing outdoor space with tent or RV. Spring 2023 you will also be able to book two small cabins on the front of the property for a large group, please inquire. Our cabin is designed after the "tiny house" movement. We created a space we would love to visit. Our bathroom features a 1-2 person infared sauna and corner shower. We have thought of every detail from premier furnishings, stackable washer/dryer, hotel quality cotton sheets and towels, feather and hypoallergenic pillows, to a fully equipped kitchen with a dorm size refrigerator, 20" electric stove with 4 burners, and dish sets for 8. Sig n into your Roku with a flat screen TV downstairs and one in each loft, as well as free and excellent Wifi. Our cabin sits on a 12'x20' foundation and has two lofts each measuring 8'x12'. One loft has a queen bed, one loft has two twin beds, downstairs has a click-clack sofa which folds down to a bed measuring 70.5"x 30.5" and a twin size 2" memory foam floor-mat lounger. Pack-n-play available upon request. Our loft railings and ladders are custom made with a birch tree designs by a local artist. Although our lofts are quite sturdy we do not feel they would be appropriate for small children or people with limited mobility. The dining area will have a solid wood birch pub table and 4 stools.
Outside hosts a large area for parking, tents, RV hookup with water and electric only (no dumping on-site), or just plenty of room to play. Enjoy your private large family size custom fire pit, outdoor small propane BBQ, or front porch with two chairs where you can unwind. All linens provided! During the winter the skiing trails start right from the end of our driveway and are amazing! A new summer trail has been constructed for lake access on Fish Lake Trail. It is about 0.6 mile walk from the end of the driveway to launch your kayak or paddle board on Fish Lake or just enjoy walking your dog. The cabin is also adjacent to a 14 mile long paved bike path.
As you can see form our excellent reviews, cleanliness has always been one of our top priorities!
We have added two more tiny houses to the front of the property. These cabins have a separate driveway from this cabin. The entire property is 1.7 acres so there is plenty of privacy. There are a total of 3 tiny house cabins on the property and an employee storage facility. Please let us know if you would like to book the entire property for your getaway:).

In the winter turn the heat down to 60 degrees, never turn the heat off in the winter, pipes will burst. In the winter draw up the shades and turn the dehumidifier on if it is off.
Never put trash outside, we will collect it.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Rules

Cabin only sleeps 6 but you can book a large party using outdoor space tents and RVs. Alaska custom is to remove shoes. Never leave trash outside!
No smoking or vaping of any substances in cabin or extra charges will apply. No fish cleaning on site or in cabin.

Cute, functional and quiet

Such an excellent stay at this tiny home in Talkeetna! We were there for two days to relax, shop, and take advantage of the local air tours. The house was perfect. Had everything we needed plus some.

Awesome stay in Talkeetna

This tiny home was perfect for our weekend out of Anchorage. Dogs are accepted and we built a fire and enjoyed the sauna after a long day. Will be booking again!

Great place!

We really enjoyed our stay at the tiny house. It was roomy enough for all 4 of us and all the amenities were great to have. Also loved that it was close enough to Talkeetna, but far away enough to enjoy time away from civilization. Would definitely stay there again!

Lovely weekend getaway

I spent Friday to Sunday here with my dog, exploring nearby trails and relaxing. It was lovely! Comfortable, clean, and well-appointed… Truly, they thought of everything. The nearby cabins were far enough from this one and had separate driveway entrances, which made this location feel very private. I hope to come stay here again and explore more of the trails!

The house was very cute and clean. It was nicely equipped. We loved having a sauna. We loved the house and location other than it being a little louder outside than expected near busy road. With being over age 50, we did not take in consideration, having to climb up and down the ladder to the bed and needing to use the restroom in the middle of the night.

Escape the grind

The Tiny House Cabin lived up to everything described and more. The bed was very comfortable. The kitchen had everything needed. I really enjoyed using the sauna.

Excellent getaway spot

At 2 hrs from the airport in Anchorage, this was a perfect spot to call home base for a first time in Alaska. I went for a mix of solitude and adventure and it did not disappoint. Cabin was comfortable and exactly as advertised. The tips in the binder were also helpful. I hiked Talkeetna lakes multiple times and took a Denali plane tour with Talkeetna Air Taxi. Just an excellent experience all around.

We stayed at the tiny cabin with my family of 5, and we all enjoyed it! Great location, cute, and very clean. We skied, played board games, and enjoyed family time. It was perfect.

This little house so was so adorable! We could have stayed for days if we didn't have other plans. The home was well stocked and very neat and clean. HIGHLY recommend. The area was so quiet and peaceful. We walked the nearby trail to the water which was really nice. It was nice to just sit on the porch for a while.

Family of 4 loved this place!!

Kids were 4 and 6 but are used to cabin ladders. We all had the best time!! The property is so clean and well taken care of. Sheets were so soft! It’s tucked away and feels like you’re out in nature. I don’t know how they fit so much into a “tiny” house but it was perfect and had everything we could have asked for. Also easy access to local trails

(Tiny) Gem of a House in Talkeetna!

Had a great stay at tiny house Talkeetna with our family of 6! Excellent, fast communication with the property owner and a very clean property exactly as described. This made a fantastic base camp for our visits to Denali and the quaint town of Talkeetna. Did the XY Lake Trail as recommended and it was a fantastic hike in beautiful Alaska. (Don’t forget the bug spray!)

Exceptional Property Manager

The process of checking in throughout the stay was outstanding. The property managers were quick with responses and ensured that any questions asked were answered clear and easily understandable. The property was excellent and just right for our stay with plenty of amenities to enjoy. The close proximity to the trails were a benefit allowing nice walks for the family and our dogs. We had a wonderful time and would definitely stay again given the opportunity.

Well equipped tiny home!

Great location near Talkeetna. Very well stocked and clean. Only issue we encountered was the fact the beds are upstairs and you have to climb a ladder. It was difficult for my husband who has back and knee problems. I would definitely recommend this cabin for active adults and children.

Absolute gem

Excellent place to rest, relax, and enjoy Talkeetna and its surroundings. Our host remained very responsive leading up to and throughout our stay. Our family if 5 included 3 college kids and we had room for everyone to sleep comfortably. The washer and dryer in the unit proved very convenient. Very clean, very well equipped. 100% recommend this tiny house.

So cute

Super convenient to access, had everything we needed including fire wood. The view of the woods from your bed was an awesome sight to wake up to. My family was able to just sit back, relax, and destress after a long week. The kids loved being able to romp through the woods. The wife loved the sauna! I don’t think I’ve stayed at a more convenient cabin!

Talkeetna tiny house

Highly recommend! This property was perfect for us as a couple-plenty of room and privacy. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. Anna was very accommodating & responded quickly to any questions we had. Super easy check-in & out. We did think we would be a little more isolated & “out in the woods” more, so FYI there is a busy road right behind the house and you can hear traffic. I wouldn’t say this was an issue b/c it was very quiet on the property overall but just something to consider.
